  1. This is causing a major headche, especially when playing. I normally have my backpage on hangar & equipment, however, when I now go onto Auction page, I get major lag problem - sometimes so bad that the whole game freezes!!

Also, I have noticed that it is taking a lot longer for my bids to go through & the auction page countdown timer freezes. Have tried Mozilla, Chrome & IE, yet the same. Always clear mt cache before playing & always make sure my Flash Player is set to Unlimited.

  2. im haveing the same problem how can we fix it

You can't, it's not the problem on your end... Go on page and watch CPU usage and memory consumption of your browser.

  4. Have noticed the memory usage. Before, I had a memory usage of under 400 Mb .. but now it goes up to over 900 Mb & forces me to log out & back in.

Funny how DO will tell you to do this & do that, clear this & that as if we are some fools who don't know these things .. yet, they rarely accept that the issues may be at their end until they get quite a few complaints about it.

As we are currently aware of the lagging auction issue, someone is looking into this situation.

As for the game freezing up due to this matter, the best suggestion we can offer is to place certain daily use items on hotkeys and when in flight lower that flash active back page until it is actually needed. This will help to reduce the CPU usage.

I hope that this information helps to offer you a better gaming experience.

We do appreciate your patience as we hope to have this issue resolved, however we do not have an estimated time frame to give you on when this will be happening.

    Have a nice Day!

I am also getting a huge amount of lag in auction. So much so that I cannot move my ship when the auction page is open.

  10. I cant even get the auction page to load without it freezing up on the screen. It will take 15 minutes or so to even show the items and then when trying to bid oh jeeze that is a completely different story. Has been having since Wed of last week. So I dont see a fix coming anytime soon from dark orbit.

Auction pages loads but takes up to 10 minutes to make bid, if it works at all, I keep getting outbid message. Filter takes about 2 minutes to load. Then two minutes before I can place bid. No more bidding for me till its fixed!

it is as if the auction is in slow motion. Just have to time it right.

  13. In darkorbit 2 things makes lags.

Now makes it trade after come update with new trade its start to lag and before few days bigpoint put Confirmation messages its nearly impossible to bid something and also whole browser have lags.

And I remember when bigpoint change looks of lasers they do it to reduce memory which use lasers = to have less lags. BUT this lasers makes incredible lags and also attacks from npc. Isn't problem a lot of ships and aliens on one place, problem is when all start to shoot than fps start to go down and lags appear.

I know that this about lasers isn't suject of post but this is huge problem in this game. With old lasers we don't have any problem and with this new is crazy to play.

    re: player input

As we appreciate the efforts made by yourself and your colleagues Astraea,
Latest from this end, GB1, the auction appears to have resumed functionality ( at least for this account ) as of yesterday. Yip!
    Huge thanks to the team!!
    Hope this finds you well

Players still having issues not receiving credits back for items overbid by other players and not won, will need to contact support to have the matter further investigated.

It is usually best to include the following information:
    Ship Name
    User ID
    Server
an a copy from your transaction logs of the item in question including time.

Thank you and have a nice day!
