    P.E.T 10 Basics
Here will show the very basic commands/functions of the P.E.T

First shows how to open and set your P.E.T on the map.

    PET.PNG
    PETAI.PNG
Simple click the "play" button to active your P.E.T, if you wanting to hide it press the square button that appears after it.
    PETAImenu.PNG

This picture shows all the basic information you need to know about the P.E.T
The top right area shows the HP, Shields, fuel remaining and experience of the P.E.T.

Next to the launch/dock button you have the purchase fuel button.
If your P.E.T. runs out of fuel you can purchase with this button, it will direct you to the shop.

The drop down menu will display which “mode” the P.E.T. is currently in.
The modes that a P.E.T. can enter are dictated by which gears you have purchased and equipped to your P.E.T.

Only one mode can be active at any one time.

The P.E.T. Rewards have changed to the following:
    • Level 0 – 5000 EP and 10 Honor
    • Level 1 – 6000 EP and 10 Honor
    • Level 2 – 7000 EP and 20 Honor
    • Level 3 – 8000 EP and 30 Honor
    • Level 4 – 9000 EP and 40 Honor
    • Level 5 – 10000 EP and 50 Honor
    • Level 6 – 11000 EP and 60 Honor
    • Level 7 – 12000 EP and 70 Honor

    P.E.T 10 Fuel
The P.E.T needs fuel to fly around and be active.
The higher the level of your P.E.T or the more equip items, the more fuel it will consume.
The formula for the fuel consumption of the PET is:
    1 + ( [PET Level] * 2 ) + ( [Ai Protocols equipped] * 2 ) + ( [Gears equipped] * 4)

The P.E.T will automatically hide away if it runs out of fuel, but it is needed to fly.

You can buy fuel in the gear section of the shop.
    (As shown below)

    Fuel.png

You can select, 10, 100, 1000 or choose maximum fuel allowed.
You can use the - / + signs to increase/decrease the amounts also.
If you just wish to purchase a set amount you can enter the number you wish to buy.

Set price for 0.25 uridium, but you can only buy a minimum of 1 uridium worth.
Since you can't spend 0.25 uridium.

Premium and Rebate discounts are available when purchasing PET Fuel.
They will not be seen in the original amount shown,
however the discount is shown in your banking balance.

Also available is the Fuel Protocol
    (as shown below)

    Economy Protocol

    FuelProtocol.png

The economy protocol reduces the fuel consumption of the PET by *%, the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol installed.

    Prices and Upgrades

The P.E.T can be purchased from the PET/Gears section in the Hangar.
If you have no PET it will be the only thing available to purchase.
Once the PET is purchased you will have access to the other items.

The P.E.T costs 50,000 Uridium to purchase and it has the basic statistics of:

    1 gear slot
    1 weapon slot
    2 generator slot
    2 AI protocol slot
Base HP value (at level 1 – 50,000 HP)It also comes with 10,000 units of fuel as an added bonus.

As the P.E.T. levels up it will grow in size, similar to the drones.
This grants the P.E.T. more slots for weapons, protocols, etc.
Each level will also give the P.E.T. a little bonus.

    Pet20 FAQ.png
*Weapon Slot cost for level 17; 40,000 uridium.
*Weapon Slot cost for level 19; 48,000 uridium.
    *Generator Slot cost
    • Level 16; 98,000 uridium
    • Level 17; 110,000 uridium
    • Level 18; 124,000 uridium
    • Level 19; 140,000 uridium
    • Level 20; 158,000 uridium

It's hitpoints can also be higher if you purchase the hitpoint upgrade.
    * Hit point Increase cap Unlock cost after Level 16-20; 50,000 uridium each.

PET EP is equivalent to 5% of regular EP gained. So from level 15 to 20 requires 2,460,000,000 EP to be gained by the player.

This upgrade can be found in the P.E.T./Gear section in the shop, after each level gained.
    Level 0: 50,000 HP ---- With original P.E.T. 10 Purchase, 50,000 Uridium
    Level 1: 60,000 HP ---- 5,000 Uridium
    Level 2: 70,000 HP ---- 10,000 Uridium
    Level 3: 80,000 HP ---- 15,000 Uridium
    Level 4: 90,000 HP ---- 20,000 Uridium
    Level 5: 100,000 HP ---- 25,000 Uridium
    Level 6: 110,000 HP ---- 30,000 Uridium
    Level 7: 120,000 HP ---- 35,000 Uridium
    Level 8: 130,000 HP ---- 40,000 Uridium
    Level 9: 140,000 HP ---- 45,000 Uridium
    Level 10: 150,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 11: 160,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 12: 170,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 13: 180,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 14: 190,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 15: 200,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 16: 210,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 17: 220,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 18: 230,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 19: 240,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium
    Level 20: 250,000 HP ---- 50,000 Uridium

To purchase the extra slots you must go to the P.E.T. tab in the Equipment section. Please note that similar to additional equipment slots, you must purchase each level in turn. Therefore to have the level 15 HP cap, you must have purchased the previous 14 levels beforehand.

You will see that the slots are locked, shown by a padlock icon.
You can just simply click the padlock to confirm to buy it.

Each level unlocks certain amount of slots, for certain amount of price.
    PetSlotcost.png

The P.E.T. can be destroyed by other players - you can also destroy your own P.E.T, but it's not advisable, as you lose Honor.

When destroyed, you will have to repair it.

This can be done on the Space Map

Repairing your P.E.T. is free when it is levels 1-3. From level 4 and up, it begins costing Uridium which increases for each level. Begins costing 10 Uridium, capping off at 350 Uridium for level 15.

If you have Premium status, P.E.T. repairs are free.

Simply click the repair option to allow your P.E.T to come back online.

The P.E.T will come back with a small percentage of HP.

    Protocol FAQ

There are a total of 10 protocols, each with 3 levels. Each level grants slightly better attributes of the protocol, the level of the PET dictates what level of protocol you can purchase and install.

Protocols can be purchased and installed on the PET just like equipment or gears, they are also configuration sensitive; if you are configuration 1 then you cannot use protocols installed on configuration 2.

    Cargo Protocol

    AICR1Cargo.png

The cargo protocol will increase your cargo space by *%, the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol installed.

    cargo.jpg

    Radar Protocol

    AIR1Rada.png

With the radar protocol installed the radar range of your PET increases, this increases the effectiveness of the locator and collector gears. Each level increases the range of the radar increase.

    radar.jpg
    1 through 12 Radar Protocols Level 3
    Minimap-29-0.gif

    Salvage Protocol

    AIS1Salvage.png

With the salvage protocol installed you can increase the amount collected from cargo and bonus boxes. It has a random bonus chance of "malfunctioning" and giving a 10% increase instead of the percentage dictated by the level of the protocol.

    salvage.jpg

    Shield Management Protocol

    AISM1Shield.png

The shield protocol increases the shield value of the PET by a certain percentage; the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol installed.

    shield.jpg

    Laser Management Protocol

    AILM1Laser.png

The laser protocol increases the damage caused by the lasers installed on the PET by a certain percentage; the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol installed.

    lasaerDamage.jpg

    Targeting Protocol

    AIAIM1Targeting.png

The precision protocol increases the accuracy of the lasers installed on the PET by a *%; the percentage is dependent on the level on the protocol installed.

    aim.jpg

    Evasion Protocol

    AIE1Evasion.png

The evasion protocol makes your PETs movement more erratic, reducing the accuracy of any attackers. The percentage reduction is dependent on the level of the protocol.

    Evasion.jpg

    Hitpoint Protocol

    AIHP1HP.png

The hitpoint protocol increases the PETs hitpoints by a certain percentage, the percentage is dictated by the level of the protocol installed.

    Hitpoint.jpg

    Alien Protocol

    AIAL1Alien.png

The alien protocol increases the PETs damage towards NPCs by a certain percentage, the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol that is installed.
Note: The damage increase pertains to the PETs lasers and not the kamikaze gear.

    Alien.jpg

    Economy Protocol

    AIECO1Fuel.png

The economy protocol reduces the fuel consumption of the PET by *%, the percentage is dependent on the level of the protocol installed.

    Economy-1.png
    *Protocol Changes
The Fuel protocol (AI-ECO) has received some changed to level 1 and 2.
Level 1 will now grant a 3% reduction in fuel usage (was 1%).
Level 2 will now grant a 3.5% reduction in fuel usage (was 2%).

    P.E.T. 10 Gears

The P.E.T. box is represented by the circular symbol, once opened it will not show any details until the P.E.T. is launched, to do this click on the play button. It will cost fuel to launch the P.E.T.; if you do not have enough fuel only the fuel symbol will show to remind you to purchase some. The launch button will change into a dock button when the P.E.T. is on the space map.

When launched the box will display the statistics for your P.E.T. The image on the left of the window shows your P.E.T.s current level in the bottom right of the picture; your P.E.T.s name is shown at the top of the box. Underneath the name the hitpoints (1), sheild (2), fuel (3) and the EP (4) of the P.E.T. are shown. If you hover your mouse cursor over the numerical values of each will be shown.

The drop down can be used to select the behavior of the P.E.T.; the available behaviors will depends on what gears are equipped.
    Passive mode

This is the default mode and your P.E.T will not do anything but follow you.
    Guard mode

Your P.E.T will stay on guard to attack anything that attacks you, both players and NPCs. If you are shooting an opponent it will help you; it works in every map, including Galaxy Gates. It will use the ammo that you have selected, it will only use laser ammunition as it cannot fire rockets.

    Auto-looter

    GAL1Autolooter1.png

This mode will prompt the P.E.T. to collect cargo and bonus boxes within its' detection range, the level of the gear will expand the detection range.

Use the Auto-looter when on an NPC quest, or in a Galaxy Gate, to collect the cargo boxes for you. It will save you alot of time.

    Auto-resource collector

    GAR1AutoResourceCollector1.png

This mode will prompt the P.E.T. to collect any resources within its' detection range, the level of the gear will expand the detection range.
    Enemy Locator

    GEL1EnemyLocator1.png

Like the resource collector this gear has a second menu, it will allow you to choose which NPC you wish your P.E.T. to find within it's detection radius. Once that NPC is found a directional ring will appear pointing you in the right direction. A small green ping will also appear on the mini map for you.

    Resource Locator

    GRL1ResourceLocator1.png

The resource location mode is identical to the enemy locator, apart from that it will direct you towards resources and not enemies. You can select the resource in the second menu, and when it has been located on the map the directional ring will point you towards it.

    Cargo Trader

    GTRA1CargoTrader1.png

The cargo trader allows you to sell your resources outside of the base station, when the mode is selected the trade window will open up as normal. The P.E.T. will then sell the selected ore, and in doing so it will be unavailable for a short period of time. This time is dependent on the level of the gear equipped; a cool down will be shown to let you know how long is remaining until the P.E.T. returns.

    Kamikaze

    GKK1Kamikazedetonator1.png

If this option is selected then the P.E.T. will explode when it's hitpoints drop
    below a certain level.

Use this in combination with a smartbomb in PvP battles to wear your enemy down.

    Kamikaze detonator (Level: 1)
Effect: Causes 25000 splash damage upon exploding.
    Radius: 250

When your P.E.T. or ship is close to being destroyed, the Kamikaze detonator will start the self-destruct sequence and explode, thereby taking out all enemies in the immediate vicinity.

After the detonator has gone off, your P.E.T. will be massively
damaged and have to be repaired.

    Kamikaze detonator (Level: 2)
Effect: Causes 45000 splash damage upon exploding.
    Radius: 350

When your P.E.T. or ship is close to being destroyed,
the Kamikaze detonator will start the self-destruct

    Kamikaze detonator (Level: 3)
Effect: Causes 75000 splash damage upon exploding.
    Radius: 450

When your P.E.T. or ship is close to being destroyed,
the Kamikaze detonator will start the self-destruct

    P.E.T. repairer

    GREP1PETRepaier1.png

The P.E.T. cannot repair itself, it must use a Repair Gear. When set to this mode, the P.E.T. will regenerate a certain amount of hitpoints per second. The higher the level of the gear, the faster the repair rate. This will not repair your P.E.T. if it has been destroyed in battle - if this happens, then the launch button will change into a repair button. Clicking this will repair the P.E.T. with a small percentage of hitpoints; the cost will vary depending on the level of your P.E.T.

There are a total of 7 gears which have various functions; these gears also have 3 different levels. Dependent on the level of the PET dictates what level of gear you have access to.
To purchase a gear click on the gear icon you wish to purchase, and then on the right hand side you can choose the level of the gear you wish to purchase.

Protocols can be used to enhance certain gears.

    Sacrificial Flame

When selected the PET will become passive and wait for a damaged player to come into range.
If a friendly ship with less than 50% shield is in range then the PET will fly towards the player and explode. Friendly ships count as players in the same clan and / or group.
Upon death a % of shield is transferred from the PET to the friendly ship.

Level Range from PET Shield Transfer Cooldown Price
    135030%909000 u.
    240040%7512500 u.
    345050%6045000 u.
    450060%4570000 u.

    Auto Loot Gear

The auto loot gear will allow your PET to collect the free cargo boxes from NPCs, and destroyed ships; it will also collect bonus boxes. Whilst the auto loot gear is active it can only be attacked by other players and not NPCs. Increasing the level of this gear will increase the range at which the PET can detect, and collect cargo boxes or bonus boxes.

    AutoLooterGear.png

    Auto Resource Collection Gear

The auto resource will automatically collect the desired resources within its detection range. Increasing the level of the gear increases the detection and collection range of the PET.

    AutoResourceCollectorGear.png

    Enemy Locator Gear

The enemy locator gear will point you towards the nearest NPC, of the type which you choose (specific to the map you are in). The PET can be attacked by players and NPCs whilst in this gear is active. If no NPC type is chosen, then it will automatically default to the first NPC in the list. Increasing the level of this gear will increase the PETs detection range.

    EnemyLocatorGear.png

    Resource Locator Gear

The resource locator gear will point you towards the nearest resources, of a type you choose (specific to the map you are in). The PET can be attacked by NPCs and players whilst this gear is active. If no resource type is chosen, it will automatically default back to the fist resource type on the list. Increasing the level of this gear will increase the PETs detection range.

    ResourceLocatorGear.png

    Trade Pod Gear

The trade pod gear allows you to sell cargo at anytime, and from anywhere. However whilst the PET is selling your resources it will be absent for a period of time. The PET cannot be attacked at all whilst it is selling resources. Increasing the level of the gear increases the bonus you will get for selling resources, and decreases the time that the Pet is absent for.

    TradePodGear.png

    Repair Gear

The repair gear allows you PET to repair battle damage at a rate of x per second; it cannot repair itself whilst in battle. Each level of the gear repairs the PET faster.

    RepairGear.png

    Kamikaze Gear

If equipped the kamikaze gear will cause your Pet to launch one last devastating attack to your enemy. When you, or your PET, reach a certain percentage of damage the PET will launch itself towards your enemy and explode. This explosion does a maximum damage, dependent on the level of the gear. Increasing the level of this gear will increase the damage of the explosion, and increase the area over which the PETs explosion causes damage.
