  1. There should be a trading ability for players. Where people of the same company can trade with each other. So you click the person name and a trade window comes up, then they have to enter the trade window. When in the trade window you can trade items for either credits, uridium, or other items. So someone can trade a LF4 to someone else for 100,000 uridium. If this feature was put live, the game would be so much better. I fell you would have a lot more people playing the game.

One good thing that DO probably will not like is people trading away apis and zeus parts. Once you have these drones you can still collect pieces, a lot of players have the drones and another 45 pieces waiting. DO made them be expensive to rake in money, but with players trading them away for a lot less...

  3. They could put restrictions on the tradable items. Not to add any publicity but using Team Fortress 2 as an example, they have things that are tradable and nontradable.

This could be used but in regulation, I also liked the fact that he wants a price to trade, that will keep people from moving their ships to other accounts.

    You have a +1/2 lol.

  4. Haha i was thinking about this other day Trading between players and what DO/BP would say as the reason not to. But TBH, if its an APIS piece how much uri/ credits would u pay? The thing that you forgot is what if the drones get destroyed, then the player that was selling them no longer has a full drone to complete? i would probs sell apis peices but not zues :p

But yes i like the idea of buy goods of another player, This will help out everyone. DO will still probs get uri buys so they can buy on the 'Black Market' maybe it could be annoymous, so you cant see whos trading, that way you dont know who u are dealing with. would stop clans fiddling and etc.

This has been suggested so many times, and each time I say no. There are too many ways for this to be abused.

  6. please explain how this could be abused? I think this is a wonderful idea. I believe there should be price restrictions on items. so for example, a LF3 can't be traded for less than 10 million credit or 5000 uridium. if there are price restrictions, then it will not be abused as much. Plus with this trading ability, it will help the noobies that are just beginning to play. It will help everyone overall. I also believe it will drive the amount of money people spend on DarkOrbit way up

I agree with cooljak. If this was implemented, it would be better now than in the past because of the bot problem. Though, even now it is bad due to the fact many of the botters can have upwards of 100 LF-4 and other elite items that they can easily give to other players for free or at a very minimal price. And from a business perspective, it would really hurt business for Bigpoint. Without good business, there is no game. Players would be giving noobs LF-4's and other elite items that a player might have bought uri to get. I don't see how this will bring in more money as people are getting items for much cheaper and not buying uri or not as much uri.

  8. I see where your coming from, but i think certain Items should be non tradable. For example. Apis and Zues parts, LF4's, ship designs, ships in general, and things of that nature should be non tradable, that way it doesn't cut down on the amount of business BigPoint will receive

Yes, I can agree with that. The equipment you mentioned should not be able to be traded. Things that are considered UFE, basically.

  10. exactly. that way we don't have UFE's popping up everywhere. Also DO would be able to keep all there business :)

Or, we could trade everything, but have a minimum price for everything that can be up'd by the players.
