missing shields

ok this is weird before i jump into my gate i had 342k of shields on my tank side finish the gate and i when to the pirate maps for a quest and i notice my shields where down by 70k and the only thing i did was switch ships and yes i check everything time on the rocks, look in my equipment was on right but it was still missing

 

Please explain this problem in a little more detail please. Please tell us your ship type and if you are changing hangars and/or changing equipment between the hangars. Also please tell us if your clan has a Battle Station.

As mentioned by ŁÁĞÏ™, can you provide more details? It sounds like it could be something simple like a change of formation, or loss of boosters.
Please also include your User ID and server in your post.

 

ok the ship i use was the aegis and before jumping i had 342k of shields with no booster or so i think that was my tank side and after i finish the gate and collected the reward i log out to switch ships to i can collect pally i have a ship in 5-3 and when i jump to 5-3 i notice i was missing shield and yes i check everything there is no cbs and i was using the hearts formation and even after i switch formation it did not took the much shields

Did your upgrades run out? (seprom/promi)?

 

I would ask this... is the ship that you have located in the 5-3 map does it happen to be a Spearhead?

My reason for asking would be that the following ships have so many spots for generators. However the spearhead has less slots therefore there is the possibility of this offering you less shielding due to the lack of space to contain it.

Goliath: Generators 15 available slots
Spearhead: Generators 12 available slots
Aegis: Generators 15 available slots
Citadel: Generators 20 available slots

Just a thought, please let me know if this is not the case.

no its not the case and its a vengi and i would about the gen and every since i been playing since 2009 and i think the times on my gens being over 25k i don't think so

 

Vengy only has 10 generator slots on ship. Aegis has 15, thats 50k difference in shields just as a baseline if all slots are filled with BO2 shield gens, adding seprom alone brings that to 70k, add upgrades and boosters ect and you will see a big difference between the 2 if run in a tank config.

Would that explain the difference?

Here you say you changed ships, You did the gate in your Aegis and you logged out to change hangers and go collect pally in the ship you said was parked in 5-3

Here you said it's a Vengy

Now you say it was your Aegis. Please bear with me now but you are confusing me. Did you log out after completing your gate in a Aegis and log back into your Vengy in 5-3? OR did you log back into your Aegis and jump to 5-3 using ship warp (jump chip doesnt work into pirate maps after all). Because the difference between a sepped, unboostered Aegis and Vengy on a tank config would be the 70k you mentioned. If you have shield boosters (which you said you dont) then the difference would be more.
However if you used ship warp then the difference in shields would indicate a larger problem.

Regards
