drone formation not working?

i have a citadel 2 lv 16 Launchers & i have chevron formation .

now tell me , why do my rockets hit harder in turtle formation or any formation i use other than chevron formation


did i just waste 100k uridium?



chevron formation + citadel=20k

Turtle formation + Citadel=24/25k? what is goin on here?

 

I am not 100% sure about this, but I always thought that the Chevron formation only affected regular rocket shots, not the rocket launcher rockets.

 

You are correct in saying it does not effect rocker launcher rockets.

Possibly, maybe it is worth sending an email into support asking for a refund.
Just explain your situation, since the description of the Chevron isn't exactly clear in stating the rocket launcher rockets won't work.

Increases rocket damage by 50%, but reduces ship hit points by 20%.

As long as you have 6 or more drones, you can use this formation any time after you‘ve purchased it.


It says rocket damage why should it only affect reg rockets?

 

Because it does is the best answer I can give, fairly useless I know.
As I said drop an email to support and explain the description gives the impression that it effects rocket launcher rockets and ask for a refund.

I thought star formation increased rocket launcher damage?

 

Some think the Star formation does increase rocket launcher damage but I'm fairly positive it doesn't, neither does Chevron, both are still good formations with the right setup, rocket fusion and uridium rockets and maybe a Leonov.
