    The Heavy Starfighter class ship I am proposing looks in appearance like a company colored Big Boy ship but it has no lasers, it instead has the ability to fire 4 non hellstorm rockets at a time.
    The ship can only fire credit type rockets until the rocket launcher is fully upgraded at which time uri type rockets may be fired. The ships stats are such:

    Speed 300
    Cargo 900
    Rocket Launchers 1
    Generators 15
    Hit Points 100,000
    Rockets 30,000
    Extras 3

    The rockets fired from this ship will be upgraded to long range.
    For each 4 levels the rocket launcher is upgraded a damage modifier will be gained by all rocket types.

    +25% at level 4
    +50% at level 8
    +75% at level 12
    X2 at level 16

    The ship will be priced at 40k Uri
    The purpose is to introduce a different kind of ship to the game.
    Usage availability will be for anyone purchasing it.


    The rate of fire for the non-hellstorm rockets will be equal to the lasers rate of fire.

    For starters it reduces the amount of resources used for laser and rockets to just rockets.
    It reduces the purchase of lasers and rockets to just rockets.
    It reduces the use of lasers and rockets to just rockets.
    It saves you from spending 10k uri for an lf-3 and also 10 credits for lcb-10 ammo per shot to do up to a whopping 150 damage as opposed to buying an R-310 for 100 credits and doing up to 1 k damage.
    But to be perfectly honest I really didn't have helpful in mind with this idea, I just had fun.....
     
  4. No. For starters, it costs allot for the HST launcher to get to lv.16 and I'm pretty sure no ones going to want to be constantly firing credit-type rockets. If this is a rocket-only type ship, I believe it should at least have 2-3 rocket launcher slots...

    It reduce's your damage output.
    It makes you a target.
    You can't fight enemies and take longer to kill aliens.
    Ammo is cheap.
    Clans help with bidding.
    It's not fun to be an easy target and not able to fight back.

    No point to this.

    It fires up to 4 R-310 type rockets when upgraded and considering the ammo this ship will be able to fire I'd say it is formitable from the start and on to the upgrades, By the way thanx for all them assisting suggestions...lol

    New material or spam threads for things you think everyone wants, your lying to yourself, you had a few good idea's on the old forums but everything I've seen on the new forums has been pretty bad, like I've said no one can or will give constructive criticism when they don't like an idea or think its needed, no one can help an idea when your so stubborn about (EVERYTHING).

    Oh yeah, because thats just what everyone wants! A weak ship that takes seconds to load back up while you are getting shot at. Does that sound good to you? No. No one wants a ship that can't do anything.

    Wow, thanks for the suggestion, I'll increase the rate of fire by 50%.

    You do realize that shooting rockets costs more than shooting lasers right? So this ship would be a waste of money.

    Considering the damage ratio, the cost can hardly be noticed.
     
  14. It costs way to much for the upgrade to be hitting 5k dmg...

    I eliminated those costly upgrades about 8 comments ago. Currently the ship fires 4 non hellstorm rockets and the rate of fire has been increased by 50%.

  16. This isn't any good because its dmg is still very poor making it an easy opponent to FE players...

    The damage is huge, what other ship does a possible 4k dmg per volley???

    Every other ship? Even noobs combo for 5-6k and this ship doesn't have lasers so throw that combo out the window, plus it has to be upgraded to even hit anything remotely good.
     
  19. This thing would be barely putting any dmg in other players... I hit 10k per volley btw and I would be able to x2 this thing in 1 config....

    I see your points, but the damage I was referring to was only from the smallest rockets in the shop and that didn't even count the Eco rockets.
