Cube Question die and lose a Drone is that true

I have heard players talking now if you die shooting a cube you lose a drone...

How much truth is there to this statement that players are saying if you die on cube player will lose a drone ???

If so don't the Drone CPU won't that protect the Drone from popping????

 

Lol, that statement is completely false, unless you are at 98% dmg or 99%

 

Well if your drone's are at 99% damage and a Cube's prot's destroy you then you'd lose a drone but randomly losing drone's when dying on Cube's isn't possible, if it happens to you then contact support, as far as I know this is gossip and or rumors to possibly keep you from shooting Cube's, it's completely untrue.

The drones won't get destroyed unless the drones are highly damaged (%).

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

I have heard plenty of people say that their auto drone repair CPU didnt work and they lost drones, but losing one as a consequence of being popped by a cubes prot is completely false.

 

I have been using drone rep cpu for over 3 yrs and have never lost a drone with the cpu on both configs.
