rift attack rockets

  1. these are 2 rocket types one that fires 1 rocket and then creates a rift that will fire 8 more rockets at your target the ffr series the other instead of firing 8 rockets at 1 target it fires 8 rockets in 8 directions like a cluster bomb the csf seires
    ffr cooldown 1 min csf coooldown 10 seconds
    ffr50
    dmg 3k*
    price 10k creds

    ffr75
    dmg 5k
    price 150 uri

    ffr100
    dmg 9k 2
    price 2.5k uri


    csf50
    dmg 5k
    price 12k creds

    csf75
    dmg 8k
    price 200 uri

    csf100
    dmg 14k
    price 1k uri




    *the secondary rockets do the same dmg
    2 the ffr100 has x2 cooldown compared to the rest

    So, from what I read, you fire this rocket and it fires a second one, the uridium version fires 8 after the initial attack. No. What's the point of this?

    I like the idea of the second, like the hellstorm but firing in different directions! Kind of like the tech item which fires upon 7 targets...

    I have never used the tech item but i want to know how it selects which target to hit as there's no Shift + Ctrl to multi select etc?
     
  8. So death, you were expecting us to ridicule this? Then why did you post it? The csf idea is interesting but the ffr is overpowered and shouldn't be used. Each rocket from the ffr100 could do about 24,000 damage. Then you fire a burst of 8 every minute and do 192,000 damage. What about a leonov using this? 384,000 damage approximately.:eek: And with cooldown boosters, you could fire it off quite often. No thank you.

    You think? Or it does? It's your idea, you should tell us what it does and then ask our opinions, not ask us what it does :)
     
  11. oh i was talking about the chain destroyer the csf act exactly like cluster bombs but of course rockets
     
  12. Well, the csf rockets better be heatseeking or something, because the way it sounds, they'll just spread in a burst of 8 rockets. If there's nothing on each side, you don't do any damage? Or will it go to the targets?

    Good point TheTaser, which is why I was asking does it lock like the chain destroyer or just send one out of each 8 points on a compass, with splash damage? Dont think there is anything that just attacks empty space atm so the eight closest targets would be best, but then what if there are only 3 targets on your screen....?

  15. So with the csf100, you fire 8 rockets in a circle that seek out targets as far as they need to go? That's not right. Also, The csf100 can do 37,000 damage approximately(seprom, bio, and chevron) You're firing 8 of them off which means a total damage of 296,000. What if the closest thing to you is an enemy? What if you're in a leonov?:confused::eek::mad:592,000. This idea is overpowered. And by the way, I'm not even including the 20% damage boost in my rocket figures that you can get from boosters.
