lasers on drones and bonuses

hello shank here I have a question. here goes

on my drones I have upgraded them to lvl 16 max... now on my lasers and shields on the drones. specially on my lasers do I need to upgrade the lasers on my drones or does the drone upgrade cancel out the upgraded lasers that's on them or does it give extra boosts...?

 

Each item that you upgrade gives it more damage/ shield. So when you upgrade your lasers, it adds more damage. When you upgrade your drones, you get an increased % of damage from lasers/ shields.

By upgrading both lasers and drones, you get an extra boost.

 

Exactly like cooljak wrote.. The bonuses you get from upgrading LF3/LF4's, Drones, Shields etc.. are added together, to give you an extra boost. You won't lose anything

yes you have to upgrade each individual item but you will not see much of an extra boost.

Drones Lasers are all upgrade able but you will not see a lot of difference in damage till you have all your LF 4 and so on, it is best to save your uri.

 

Lol, I learned the hard way of saving that precious uri for LF4 upgrades xD
There should be a booty box drop or get one from GG (Perhaps 0.1%?) for "Free, 1 Level upgrade for Generator", or somethin like that :3

I still have a question concerning this subject. Drones give damage boost off of base damage or upgrade damage. What im getting at is it best to put my lf4 upgrade in my drones first or in my ship?

 

It should be from the upgraded, and not the base, damage.

 

Drone damage boosts are not calculated from base damage, they are calculated from total boosted damage.

It is always better to put your best lasers on your drones, unless you are in a leo in your own company lower maps, then it is better to have your best lasers on your ship as they get double damage boost.
