So as we can all see, the new quests give a lot more EP compared to the old ones. I thought I would spend 15 minutes to just work out how much they give. Please note I only did this for the lv 13 - 20.

    Level 20 quests - 610,804,000
    Level 19 quests - 1,272,000,000
    Level 18 quests - 605,200,000
    Level 17 quests - 259,515,000
    Level 16 quests - 198,675,000
    Level 15 quests - 73,715,629
    Level 14 quests - 44,000,000
    Level 13 quests - 18,498,320

In total, with no boosters, from the quests of lv13 to 20 you will receive 3,082,407,949 EP. Not bad.

I am wondering they are going to bring out more content that is exclusive for people over lv20, or possibly over lv21, it certainly seems that these quests are aimed at allowing people to reach those two levels with ease.

On another note, if someone did them all with max EP booster (CBS, 50% event, double booster, ship etc) then they could make 6.5 billion ep just from quests xD

  4. wow yeah. the low level players are going to be gaining on me fast i got to start doing these quests. would be nice if the quest gave out more honor and uri. i dont think any of the NPC quests give out honor

The dev team probably decided not to give out much honor in the quests to avoid massive inflation of rank points since EP is pretty useless for rps yet honor is amazing for it.

I do think they should give out a bit more uridium though.

  6. okapi can you do how much uri you get form lvl 13 to 20?

  7. Wow. O_O

  8. Lol i have to 1 lvl to get 13 lvl and 13M ep. Seems legit ^_^

  9. So I have just a little bit too much time on my hands...

All made in about one day. I reached Level 19 yesterday, and now I've just hit 20. :D

I just did the palli quests (the three that I saw) for 50, 100, 200 last night, all together. Forgot to put my EP skin on (d'oh!), but had EP booster, and got just over 51 million EP. That's whack. :p Not only that, the quests stacked, so when I finished the 50 and went on to the 100, I already had 50 collected towards the 100, and likewise when I hit the 200. So, that's about 10 million EP a minute. Again,

The funny thing is DO removed the mission points, supposedly to make it fairer for new players.
But even at level 13 a newish player can only make less than 20 mil EP but a lvl 20 player can make 30 time that amount, for the quest available just for the level 20 quests.

How is this fairer for new players

  12. The new quests do give silly amounts of exp, in less than 3 days iv gained around 600 million exp.

From my work recording 7 day EP data on GB1 the EP "LAST WEEK" leader board does not show the top 20 or so EP gainers.

The actual biggest EP gainers for the 7 days between the 10th and 17th on GB1 was as follows:-

    12,644,914,422
    22,436,778,703
    32,194,109,461
    41,963,744,209
    51,531,705,289
    61,520,420,766
    71,513,458,886
    81,501,091,424
    91,407,938,587
    101,382,355,102
    111,335,213,841
    121,287,407,198
    131,212,844,577
    141,211,773,902
    151,198,793,172
    161,107,581,248
    171,086,052,405
    181,032,781,138
    191,005,868,401
    20 998,086,344
Here is the current data shown for GB1 EP "LAST WEEK" list.
    1 CoCaCoLa™♥SanMarino♥969759838
    2 Zaffles™900881155
    3 Mαѕтєя-ĐJ748033312
    4 KLΛXX_Ī$ŧ_ΛĢĢЯØ689642421
    5 Ð∆ЯК¤∆ÐÍΞ§KIĹĹ∆™»»V«668200982
    6 XAsSaSsİn••••SCReEdX638752510
    7 Hаябѕтylє-Κєєqo[Ħ†Λ]615216452
    8 ஜ†ЯłÐÐłČK†ஜ[ΞVØ™]596300901
    9 βєšτ~Ŧїмє™572869686
    10 [ØØ7]ŖØĢЏΞ™543587455
So I would suggest the new quest system and the removal of the Mission count, rather than being aimed at giving new players a fair chance, it seems to be aimed at WW maximising the EP gains from All the Boosters

How can EP now be call EP ( Experience Points)? When a player can do a few mission and earn more EP in a few days, that many players that have player for year and accumulated thousands of hours of game play.

I think the idea is to take them through the levels one by one. Rather than jump them from the space of 13 to 20 in the space of just around 25 quests.

To be fair, the quests are open to everyone though, the players who have played thousands of hours can do them too.
They will be able to do them quicker than any new players because (hopefully) they will have a better ship so won't take them as long as somebody starting out.

So it all evens out eventually. If these quests were exclusive to people who signed up from now onward then that would be an issue, but they aren't so its not.

The rate at which people can acquire EP has always been changing, so these quests giving a lot more is just opening that rate up to new players.
You can get to lv22 in around 400 hours of game play if you wanted to. Couldn't do that on the old client, no matter how much you spent just because making EP was a much slower and boring process.

  15. @-Pacman2- When you reach a certain level you no longer show up on the top EP earned of last week leaderboard. Not sure which level it is, but I think it's 21.

  16. Well heer for one is one of the 83 I done this weekend to get rank points back,,
    insane EP with 50% booster.
    19.01.2014 - 19:19[IMG]You have successfully completed mission "New Mission - Code: 1901"!

There are a list of faults with the Hall of fame. If there was a Level restriction on the listing for EP then we should be informed.

The rank says "Last Week " not last week unless you are level 21 or above.

I would suggest that the reason for the issue is 1 of 4 things.
    1. There is a bug in the "hall of fame" that does not see the top 20 or so EP gainers.

    2. Typically the top Honour gainers are the same players as the top EP gainers, so the top Honour gainers are removed from the Last Week Ep rank. Possible.
    3. The amount of EP gained by the top 20 is so high that it looks bad to show it in the Last week rank. Even more possible.
    4. The "Last Week" data is correct.
    :rolleyes::eek:

PS ►ÐÂЯŦΉĢüДĻℓЙ◄†™, there are 6 out of the top 20 EP gainers between the 10th and 17th that are lvl 20. A few of the listed "Last Week" players are lvl 20

I get that the quest are aimed at making players go through each level one by one.

New players need uri to get the equipment to survive in uppers, these quest are likely to draw new players away from earning uri. So if the new players focus on the quests rather than farming npcs and bonus boxes, they will end up high EP / TU ranking, but still very weak.
Therefore making them pretty much pointless to the average new play. However a new player WW would possible gain a little in the early days from the quest.

So I see these quests being aimed at encourage uri buying for the 50% EP booster and uri for other EP boosters and the uri / palli not earned while working through the quests and new players that are prepared to pay their way up the ranks.

To be fair, absolutely the quest are open to everyone. Also new players that play often, going forward will move through the ranks much faster.
However that is more because around
75% of account with any EP shown in the EP listing and TU rank, do not add any EP within a 7 day period if at all.
The average new player after completing all the new quest will add around 3 to 3.5 billion EP over an extended period.
A WW in a clan with 2-3 CBS and all the other EP boosters that are available can gain
at least double that in a few weeks.
So the net result will be, by the time new players have gained the EP from the quests, any other player that currently plays and does all the quest will have already done the higher EP earning quests and will be back earning far more EP Honour and Uri from doing Cubes and BKs.

So in my opinion the quest are not design for the new players or the average player they are designed to encourage higher levels of spending.

The fact that a WW could get to Experience Point Level 22 in a few hundred hours Just show how ridiculous the situation is these days and how in my cynical view are just a continuation of the driver, to make profit at any cost to the quality of the game.

EP is no longer related to Experience Point, as there is no relationship between the two.

The points should have been Quest Rank Points not Experiences Point.

I much rather these quests give high EP rather than high RP. I think a lot more people would be complaining if it was high RP, as if the ranks aren't inflated enough for new players as it is.

Sure a paying player can make EP faster and a greater amount but they should be able to. They paid for the booster to do so.

In the most popular free to play games, the paying aspect comes in cosmetics and paying for boosters which rank your character up faster, allowing you to reach end-game content quicker. I think that is the ideal model for free to play games.
