  1. This is out of hand on bids with everyone getting there credits back on bids.Bring back the old way for nobody cares anymore what they bid,Because they get it back. The old way was much better so you had to play and earn,Newbies got it way to easy now days. thanks for reading

  2. no... thats my answer.

  3. Excuse me, half the time i have to spend 20-50 mill on boosters and loosing that many creds isn't to bad, until you miss 3 or 4 of them then it kinda sucks, i like not going broke anymore just to keep up with everyone else, and trust me I'm not a "noob" who has it to easy.

  4. I agree all of the current people who responded to this thread must have not played when auction was normal, so they groan and moan if it gets changed, Stuff goes for auction for so much mored than it used to, for example a week ago i tryed to win a bo2 for ten hours i bid 50 million never won it, when auction was normal 25 million would have been a safe bid, but a bo2 for 50 million thats ridiculous

O.K. I honestly have to disagree with you on the same note as everyone else here. The Bidding system is not out of hand it is actually better than it was before. I was there when it was bidding and no bids back, and I have to say that i never used the auction for that reason, not to mention the fact that people are bidding up into the freaking 300 millions on 3 stupid little log disks. Plus the noobs don't have it easy now a days, for example i have been playing for about 3 years with this one account and I am still not even sub-elite. This is one of the best things they have done to Darkorbit in a long time. Sorry to have to disagree with you.

No. That's my answer because the auction system is actually like an auction now. Before, the one with the most credits won and the losers lost all their credits, and had to start over again. Now, if you lose, you can try with the same credits again later.
I'm over FE but not UFE, just saying so you don't automatically assume I'm a newb who wants things to be easier.

I have been playing this game for about 3 years on this one account ( this is just letting people know I have 2 accounts ) and I have to say that I hated the original auction system because no matter how much I bid on a Goliath or a Lf-3 or anything for that matter i couldn't get it. That is because people today can go out and kill about 50 Kristallons and get about 50 million right there. It wasn't hard to rake in that many credits. The feeling of doing all that hard work to get those credits and then to bid them and loose all of your credits because someone out bid you is kind of degrading on ones moral. It makes a lot of Darkorbit user's quit the game prematurely and that isn't OK. Not to mention there are still things today that cause them to leave prematurely which is why the Darkorbit community has declined so badly.

  8. Umm, 50 Bk's is about 25 Million Credits not 50 million, i don't see why you should get your credits back, you take a risk going to auction, bid once knowing you will win...

It's not an auction, if the lower bidder (not the winner) loses all his money.

  10. i would like to see the old trade back too, bidding price now is so hig because who care how much you bid? you get the credits back... i got my fe ship with old trade and i know how its hard to make credits and to loose them on a trade ( lost twice 160 mil on iris and a lot of time 30 mil on bo2 and lf3 ), now everyone bid on everything with the new trade because theres no risk on bidding

Yeah, you need the money to beat other competitors, that's what DO is about.

  12. I think that the new mod is better. If you spend 30-50 mil C on something and someone else bid more and you lose them ALL. Would you like to lose 50 mil C? First of all think about this .

    RaMiAl likes this.
  13. This is true. The new auction will be beyond outrageous if they don't alter something

They will, there will be a new auction system, but it wont be reverted back to the old one. People will still get their credits back.

  15. Noobs have it easy these days, so the OLDER players get nothing, i made a second account and started with like 15k uri, and 5 lf3's, and like 4 bo2's, when i started back in 2008, i got 10k uri, and thats it...

  16. The reason why this was made was because Darkorbit wanted to make the game easier for people to start and thats why they have made LF-2's B01's etc bought with credits and they have done this so new players can keep their credits and bid again so they can try and get the elite equipment.

  17. Well when Noobs whine saying how hard the game is, its aggrivating because i started with nothing that they had

  18. Well the game has changed and then you are already FE or UFE by the time they start so then it would make it seem like you have the advantage and also you would also benefit from the auction.

  19. I quit the game for 1 year, when i left i was level 16, and basic fe, i came back and the first person i fought had "Fats" i had no bio at the time and i killed them, it doesnt matter how hard you hit it matters if you know how to fight

  20. Keep the AUCTION how it is. Lets noobs get the credit items quickly so they can move onto the next level which is the road to fe/ufe. It's highly depressing when you lose 45 mill 4 times in a row and its nice now not having to worry about getting these credits back. The name suits it perfectly and it really is like an auction. Bad suggestion
