Connection being reset

  1. Everything was fine with this game until yesterday evening. I logged off for a while & logged back on late yesterday evening. Since then, including this morning, I have been experiencing severe issues with your server. With Firefox, I quite often get a message saying the following ...

    The connection was reset.
    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.



    With Chrome the following tends to happen ..

    This webpage is not available
    Reload More


    With Internet Explorer, the following ..

    This page can’t be displayed
    •Make sure the web address http://gb1.darkorbit.bigpoint.com is correct.
    •Look for the page with your search engine.
    •Refresh the page in a few minutes.


    I am also having some lesser issues loading my Space map.

    What has caused all this to happen as I certainly have not made any chages to my pc, & yes, I have cleared my cache & also cleaned my registry!!

  2. I've been having problems as well, some of the same above but also cant get the loading bar to load fully, been like this for 3 hours. Tried 2 different browsers, cleared cache, flash player and restarted computer. Internet works fine on other websites.

    Not to mention sometimes blank white pages.

    It wasn't like this last night when i logged off.

    exactly the same think happens to me.Poseidon said it is passed to support but dont know when they will fix it.

    Hi guys, Oracle, am having same issues like yourselves with logging on to the server GB1 then immediately being told that connection to the server has been lost.. Have tried the usual stuff clear cache etc., but low and behold still getting this problem, surely it must be tech glitch as almost everyone has been messaging in clan chat with the same error coming up on their screen.

    We are aware of this issue and it has been passed to support, so it can be looked into and please be patient as it will be fixed shortly.

    Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

    The above happened because of the poblems created that are described above. You bring out updates which are not properly tested & then expect the players to suffer & continue suffering until someone has the common sense & time to do something about it. This is totally ridiculous!!!

    I know Support have to have time of, but in most multi-national companies, there are always people on hand to handle problems/issues that may arise - maybe Support should take a few tips from them.
     
  7. hi guys to me happened same thing on global europe 1 since last night and is still like that.can not log into game and every now and then comes blank page with sam message like silver bullet said
    i also think that you guys in dark orbit ( big point or whavetever ) should at least check any update a bit better before putting it into game
    anyhow....keep on flying my fellow spacemen...this will be solved like any other issues before

    Stupid thing happened again .. jumped portal from 2-5 to 2-6 & it said "connection reset" & had to "X" my browswer & when I relogged my ship had been destoyed.

    I believe the issue is fixed now and if you are experiencing any other game related issues, you can post it in
    Technical Issues or you can always Contact Support for same.
