Level discharge

I really do believe there should be some type of level discharge when it comes to a level 22 attacking a level 14.

More along the line of someone level 22 can't attack a player that is level 11 unless they both are in The 4 pvp maps or that level 11 is invading the level 22 territory.


Please vote and tell me what you think we should really speak about this cause it effects newcomers more then some care.

 

lol that o and if the level 11 spent $ and pops said level 22 player you going to make it no pvp at all lol its not going to happen its part of the game bps thinking is if the 11 player gets poped x amount of time thay are more likely to spend $ so thay dont pop next time lol

 

True but some people will not make it to level 11 because the rest of the server is much more advance and mostly advance players attack them players at rookie levels, if it happens to much that person will not get into the game that will lead to that person spending they personal money on darkorbit. Not everyone jump out the wallet. Most of the players that spend cash has been playing for year(s). Newcomers usually quit because of being shot down so much by advance pvp players hunting in the rookie maps, and also rookie players are to easy for advance players.

 

Once again, this is the Speakers Corner, this belongs in the Idea section of the forums.

But I don't want it. A level 10 could have spent hundreds of dollars on MHH, and instantly be stronger than a level 15 that plays as a free player.

 

I didn't put this as a idea. We talk about this all the time in ts, wanted to ask others.

And also if that level. 10 attack you then the discharge is over. Just like the x1 map, it's just dealing with levels

Yes, but if that level 10 is FE and stronger than the level 15, it still is just pointless. The level 15 player could know that the level 10 is super strong, yet he won't be able to do anything about it until it is too late.

 

As I said before cooljack, don't reword my stuff, I said I wanted to talk about it not post it as a idea, that's why it's in this section, and most people cool with this, all the UFEs cool with it like myself but I guess you want to play like a rookie cause noobs might be the only players you can shoot down

 

I didn't reword your "stuff". Talking about an idea and posting an idea are the exact same thing. By most people, I am assuming you mean your own clan mates and the few people in chat. And no, I am not a rookie, I have been playing since 2010, and no, noobs are not the only people that can shoot me down. You put a thread out asking for people's opinions, so I gave you my opinion.

Says he has 4 UFE ships and has played extensively and yet knows nothing about the game. Is there an "ignore" feature on the forums, if not please add it ASAP.

At the end of the day level is just a number a level 10 can pop a level 22 player and only reason higher lvl players go for lower ones is 1. they got no skill and rubbish at fighting 2. they just want to knock their ship kills up to make them feel they are good.

Personally I go for quality not quantity and leave new players alone or sometimes help them.

And ive said it many times today new players got things a bit easier and they just have to learn like most of us had to.

 

I like this idea, spending cash doesn't get you very far cos all the decent stuff is now chance and mainly via gates (which will then level your within a couple of hours gameplay)

The newbies who like to be small and roam around to get a feel for the game have no chance of staying and paying

 

El-Squido is a very well known player on East 3. Surely since you played and have a UFE ship on that server you would obviously know that.

 

This is going to get out of hand fast. Bad idea because level does not dictate how good you are. If you're tired of being popped, learn how to run, stay in dmz, or good riddance. Tired of people complaining because I went through the same thing. Get used to it. This is what Darkorbit is.

 

Think about it, a level 22 can't attack a level 8, a level 15 can't attack a level 4. If your so advance then what's the issue y'all just to scared. Weak is hell

And level does matter, because you only got access to certain maps at certain levels and yes a person can be level 1 Ava spend lots of money on MHH BUT THAt person still going to need

Pilot points, 8 million uri + for all 50 points.
10 drones, 3 million uri
And at the top of that that person would have to do gates to get LF4s and drone designs which will put him past rookie level doing all the gates then that person gotta build his Skylab which takes time. By that time that person going to level up by whiting and playing with the quest.

 

Weak is hell... Wow nice grammar scrub. Um, it's a PvP game, I should be allowed to shoot what ever player I feel free to shoot. Sometimes I willingly help noobs kill their NPC before I pop them. I have helped kill bbks then popped those who were on it.
