  1. please stop spamming

    as HarleyD has already said.

You can't take criticism and you act like a child when you get opposition to your rather pathetic ideas.

  2. i alsi have an idea

i want developers to add a "deslike" button to forum next to "like" one ... so our friend VESPID gets the exact message we wana give him

That already exists as a poll which aren't allowed in this section and for good reason, they want you to give opinions and reasons for liking/disliking an idea.

Why does the beam need to happen? It would just make things laggy.

I still don't understand this though, what is the point of having it if after 30 seconds, you have to wait a minute and just fly towards the alien again anyway. Stop being lazy and just fly to the alien.

Hmmmm....I'll remove the activation and cooldown times and just make it static and ready for reuse.
Come to think of it, the beam should extend to the limit of the weapons system for additional safety.

Anyone that doesn't want it is welcome to stay away from it be it in game or here.
    Consider yourself dismissed.

    The evolved idea at hand:

The item I am proposing is such that restrains NPC's from running when they are close to being destroyed.

A beam comes from your ship and surrounds the target with a pulsing "yellow" energy globe that keeps it in place for the final blow.

The beam auto activates when the target runs, the target is held in place at the farthest limit of the weapons range.

Thank you for your suggestions Tom Sawyer and Boss Adam.

The suggested price for this item would be 15K Uri.

I'm sorry, you seem to be confused. This is not how it works. Just because people don't want it, doesn't mean you just ignore them.

What is the point of this "beam"?

  8. Good point. whats the point of the beam.

  9. i think it's about time to close this thread....

  10. I had a brainwave xD. The point of this beam is such that VESPID can kill a boss kristallin without being destroyed as it runs away. The fact that he cannot stay out of its range while it's running just irks him, so he made this beam up to hold npcs at the furthest laser range of his ship so he can pop them.
Just so you know, no one wants this piece of crap. All the junk you come up with seems like hacks to me. Damage, autolock, and now this stationary thingamajig. It's kind of like when you're fighting someone and your ship freezes everytime you get near them, except this is for npcs.

Im closing this one as the point of the beam is to allow those too lazy to chase an npc down or indeed those too weak to kill it quickly a chance to just sit out of laser range and hit it without taking any damage or having to think about what they are doing. This sounds like another request for a legal bot or hack and I am treating it as such.

If you cant kill it without resorting to parlour tricks then stick to shooting streuners and lordakias in your x-2 map until you are strong enough.
