Late night events

Hello,

I noticed that on Fridays and the weekend, many events only go until 9 or 10 at the latest (possibly 11, I haven't noticed it myself). How about having something that goes until midnight, like space ball or capture the beacon. Thoughts?

 

That is a good idea but perhaps the thought of allowing the pilots that go to the club to get their strange on for the night has proven wise to them.

I'll go out on a limb to say that they want to make sure enough people will actually engage their events.

 

I say Yes to all the NPC events,

But as far as pvp events go I'd have to say no. Those pvp events can burn through heaps of ammo just to get first.

 

I dont know. I find spaceball very boring and for it to go on till midnight i would be bored out of my mind and i think it would end with 4 people in the whole map. Score... well i wait for that to end as it is most noobs do too, if some of us go to bed for work at 11 and an event goes till 12 can hardly keep our spots in the event rankings.

 

I was thinking more of alien events, such as infiltration or even invasion gate.

 

Events should have more times than just afternoon and night. I think if the event times were random, that'd be fun. Increasing them a bit longer would be good for certain events and bad for others. Going to midnight would be fine--I'm up later'n that anyway xD.

 

One thing I've noticed later on is that no one's on late at night and so the game gets boring. It would be nice to see something this to attract a few players to come on later so +1 from me.

 

I doubt it will happen considering so few pilots really want it.

And the forums is the only place that it matters. If people want to voice their opinion on this idea, they can do so here. Besides, who are you to speak for the whole community?

I figure ignoring works better than trying to reason with a kid so maybe I'll try that And a lot of people want late night events/ new events/ different times for the events.

I would say yes to all events for that matters , more events more fun simple.

NPC events yes, PVP events no.

The pvp events use heaps of ammo. One can go broke just to get first in scoremeggedon.

 

U still dont have to play it if u dont want to waste ammo, its not mandatory
But its true scoremagedon 3 hours is more then enough

 

I kind of agree with the PvP events though, maybe if anything they would only happen on Friday's or Saturdays. Other days are NPC events.

 

Your right, no one forces us to partake in the events, but for those of us who are highly competitive we like to partake, but we don't like using 300k + x4 to get first in an event...That ammo is very expensive.

 

How about we just come up with a brand new event. something for midnight? Maybe something "supernatural" Since night is when the spirits come out to play

Maybe some kind of monster npc can be created for this night event, and no one knows where it is, it just pops up on some poor sap and either devours them or gets annihilated :3
