Pulsar:Ship Design

The ship has 10% more Shields and 5% less damage to Shields.
Introduction: Pulsar Technologies have done it! For the first time ever a ship that can stunt the evil corruption that is the venom.

This ship is a ship with a special ability known as the EMP-4. The EMP-4 does the same as regular EMP with slight side effects to ships that were hit when they are targeting the Pulsar. In Addition to losing lock. they will get a "status for 25 seconds " called Fried electronics. -10% dmg and -10% shields. The spear head will not be able to use ultimate cloaking for 1min.

Of course we have not worked everything out, the reload to for the special is 17 minutes, and after use of the ability for 7 min you will NOT be able to cloak or use normal EMP. If you have used normal EMP before you will have to Waite the corresponding reload time for the regular EMP to use the ability

Like the design idea but the ability of being able to stop the other ability is a bit unfair. What makes a aegis a aegis, is its healing abilities.. Take that away then the ship is basically useless.

Sounds like you are combining the Jamx and the EMP.
By having the jamx feature work in concert with the EMP when it is used with the same cool down might help.
Without the negatives tho.

 

Use JAMX from the spearhead. It works like an emp to disable specialties, but it does not drop lock. Your idea is overpowere because it combines emp and JAMX as well as doing it for 1 minute(JAMX does it for 5 seconds) and reducing the attackers damage and shield. The 17 minute cooldown does not make up for it.

 

I do not find this idea over powerd but i have changed 1 min to about 30 seconds, the least amount of time would be 15 seconds, as far as comparing this to other ships and there abilities please do not compare as there are different in such a large manor it would be hard to compare reasonably.

 

Whats the point in us paying for this damage if you just go and buy this design that will reduce the out coming damage. I think the aegis repair already lets people survive long enough. I like the idea i really want new Goliath designs for shield like the spectrum but not one with a ability to reduce someones damage especially when we all have paid for the LF4's boosters and all the other extras needed...

Well they did not "need" to pay for that to be competitive according to DO devs so that is an invalid point seeing how the dmg reduction would be a valid point and not to over powered sing it only about 10%

This ship design is a bit overkill It has 10% more shields and has 5% more shield absorption. Going to the crab formation with bio and this design means you have a shield ratio of 117 to 1. With the moth formation on you, your hull would take 3 damage to every 100 shield. The EMP-4 is in my opinion a bad idea. Causing them to lose lock, damage, shield, and special abilities is too much. You're pretty much mashing JAMX, EMP, and something new(10% less damage and shield) all in one.

 

Just like to inform you all... From this guys name (EXACTLY the same as a noob on my server) I can say he just wants it easy on him... cause he is a noob...

No to this idea, it is unfair, if it came out, I'd force a 250k uri refund for my venom.

no we have enough designs ... we need lag fixed first thent they can keep adding more unnecessary stuff to it.... once i play this game at 60fps with 12gbs of ram then they can continue with actualization!!
