Make Reaper maps 5-X a PvE map.

There is one thing that bugs me the most, is that in each server there's that ONE COMPANY who keeps dominating events, maps, and the numbers of players in THAT COMPANY is SO HIGH, they can litterally freely roam around other maps without fear of being attacked by their enemies.

As in 5-X maps for example,
In MOST servers, there's ONLY ONE company that dominates these maps, and anyone from any other companies that dares enter these maps are instantly shot down upon sight.
Which is an even worse case in 5-3, where I see HUNDREDS of players from a single company CONSTANTLY farm palladium in the mist zone, making those players OverPowered in a matter of days, and if they see anyone else from a rival company appear, as long as the players from the dominating company are not AFK and they are skilled players (which is most likely), they will IMMEDIATELY HUNT YOU DOWN FOR NO REASON AT ALL!!!

If people didn't know, 5-X Reaper maps are supposed to be maps where all companies fight off the enemy reaper ships together.

My suggestion, is to:

-Make the jump portals in 4-5 accessible only when you are not under attacked (because players tend to escape from hunters in these portals)

-Make PVP restricted in all 5-X maps.Make then PvE (Player versus Entity) maps.That way players from every company can farm palladium there, and not from just one company that'l grow stronger and killing anyone else, causing many players from other companies to switch or leave the game, and eventually they'll be no competitivity at all in there. Just "the strongest wins and if you're in a weak team you're dead", like it happens in many random games!

-maybe make reaper ships spawn more frequently and in slightly higher numbers.

That is all I have to say about the reaper maps.

 

I know what you mean 'bout certain companies dominating events, maps etc...i used to play on a server which dominated 5-3. Fortunately, this doesn't happen on GB2. Anyway, to your suggestion to restrict PVP in 5-3, i'd have to disagree with that. Perhaps instead of restricting the whole map, they could just restrict PVP around the mist area. Just PVP, not PVE, so it prevent players from just camping in 5-3, and using their pets to do all the work 24/7.

 

Absolutely not. This idea has been brought up so many times and there are lots of solutions. Log out, switch companies, get stronger, don't use those maps...ect. Remember what game you're playing.

Oh sure Thetaser, I'd love to. and soon the server's competitivity between companies will be dead, as only ONE company will be active, the only war they'll ever make is clan war!!

Lol, i don't like it because GA1 is highly populated, over 200 EIC in the map, now imagine the 100+ active vru and the very few mmo, all in the map. how does 1 fps sound to you?

Would be nice but bots man. So i would like to see it done like this. Make half the map pve and half not. And have that half of the map move from time to time for those bots. That way people could still camp out and pop players and bots.

 

Considering there are now actual quests that require killing enemy ships in all 3 pirate maps I'd say the chances of seeing this implemented are slim to none. Cloak up and hit the bmaps if pirate maps are too hot.

 

FYI smart one, I'm in VRU on US West and MMO is the dominating company. I say no to any map that tries to be PVE only. Learn how to play or just don't. And Bounty has a point there. All the people asking for PVE on a PVP game are complaining noobs.

 

we have quest in 5-3 to kill enemy so that means do decided it not to make a pve map so this idea is useless
and one thing more if u dont like this just change company and start pally and kill the invaders u will have fun

I have to admit that BP have always done fair good job with DO (except with boters & hackers ... but now seems that fixed this also )

THERE IS ALWAYS an other solution available

lets give u an example
i get average 10500 uri per hour & 68 gg spins by boxing in pvp maps
68 *100=6800 + 10500 = 17300 uri

collect pally as i have read gives 2000 pally average witch is 2000/15 =133 gg spins equals to 133*100=13.300 per hour
bonus boxing vs pally = 17300 vs 13300

do u realy still need to go to pally maps ???????

i actually need to go to pally maps cause there are so many victims just afk to help me get some more easy kills
