Kristallin-wave Gate Gamma

i was wondering if i can do the kristallin wave in the gamma gate....
they are fast, strong(together),...


My equipment: i have an Aegis, a Goliath, 8 Iris(level 6), P.E.T (level 7), 1LF4, about 30 LF3, about 30 BO2 shields, 15 best speed generators, Heart formation(drone),...
Can i do it, if so,what's the best technique?

 

If u have kami 3, run and sit kami(use shield rep while u sit) then run again then repeat this

 

Tip: do the gate when you're not lagging. Preferably when there's less players online.
Not done gamma yet but i heard using insta shield when kami'ing would help.

I have done gamma on x1 old time school, sks wave would take up to 3 hours, it can be done of course u have loads of advangates we didnt have in old days , u can prom up your lasers and kill them one by one , just circle them carefuly and u should be fine even without kami.
8 shields 7 speed engines on both configuration the rest in iris just put lf3 u should finish it in 1 30 min more ore less

 

I'd recommend, level up your pet to lvl 8. Save up 50k uridium and purchase the kami lvl 3. It is definitely worth the uridium not just in this gate but for other ggs and for events such as crazi cubikon et cetera

Gamma is not that hard before LF4, drone designs, upgrades and 2 new drones came out and when there was only LF3 and 8 Irises, people still used to finish Gamma (Y) gate with x1 ammo. The key is to have balance between shield and damage and with your equipments I am quite sure you will be able to do it. Also in kristallin wave do not stay at one spot because you will die in few hits. Just make all kristallin's gather at one place and click one of them at one time, hit them and make them run to the corner.
Do that till you are done with all 80 kristallin's. Keys is to have good shields and damage balance.

I would suggest, do not let the kristallin run to the corner, drag the pack of kristallins towards the middle of the map,
then when the kristallin's hp is low position your ship between the pack of kristallins and the nearest of the top left or bottom right corners ( as this is were it will run to ) and drag the pack in that direction. then when it runs, you can keep shooting it and pop it before it gets to the corner.

If you let the run to the corners you will end up with loads of them with full shield in the 2 corners.

 

do the old way just have enough speed gens on your other config to out run the kristallin and have your other config with fast config use this to run untill all the kristallin comes out then circle them until like there all together and use your other config to pop them just luck to one kristallin then run backwards this way your ship is shooting the said alien while your running and when that kristallin runs to the corner dont follow it let it go there you will have enough time to kill it later just click to the other alien and runs backward again just keep repeating this and you will be fine.

by the way what i do is i click on the mini map to run backwards so if the aliens runs to the corner i can still click to the next one while my ship is still running backwards and wont get hit by the aliens. with your aegis you will be good, i have been using vengy ever since kami and the rest comes out from the game and still i can do this gates with it.

dont worry about them gaining back there shields on the corner because you can still just sit in a right distance where you can take there lock and just keep shooting them
at least they wont following you this time and you will be just sitting pretty popping them....

 

The Issue with letting the npcs go to the corners these days for a weak ship, is the npcs shield to hp ratio, so the npcs in the corners take much longer to pop, as you need to get through the shield. So popping the npc in the corners will take ages.

Popping them as they run mean their shield is already gone. Doing this will mean the time it will take to do the wave will massively reduced.

 

It is easy seeing as you have more then we did back in the day.

Just lock and shoot from a distance, if you have moth form, use it.

 

kristallin wave finished!...i'm now stuck at the kristallon wave....i already died there once....i will wait untill i have more seprom to do it...

 

You're actually capable of doing the bk wave now, without sep seeing as you're F.E with an aegis... All you do is circle them, 1 by 1, till they're low enough and start running- thats when you chase them, and finish them off. ( This was how it was done, back in the old days, without all these new gears & such)

 

i still do it like that, except drag like usual, my kami is a bit... stupid?

 

those kristallons have about 33.600.000 health together
it will take a long time never the less...
but in time, it'll be done

 

It took me 4.5 hrs straight to do the Gamma Bk wave on my first gamma back in 2009 I wasn't even FE back then.

Also the other advantage of not letting the npcs get to the corners is, if you do pop the npcs in the corners re-spawn full hp, any you pop do not re-spawn.

 

lol i don't bother trying to kami, during gamma BK's, my pet takes far too long to set off, it seems, i just circle 'em, then finish of with x3 or summit.

Not longer than 2 hours, the most...

 

It just requires patience. Best to finish off the bk before it gets to the corner as if you somehow pop in the gate, any bks at corner will be there again with full health. From alpha abd beta ggs experience i'd suggest x1 till the bk runs. stay around the mid of map and get a little distance from the cluster of bks and your target one. then rush in with x2/x3 ammo and finish it off. repeat for the rest of the bks.

If im not mistaken, theres 16 bks, shouldnt take too long, plus they're slow, if you have bat formation, it'll be pretty helpful.

Get shield double booster 50% and dmg booster, it should work good, put ish on hotkey 1 and ur finger on it if something doesn't work how expected use 10 speed gens in first cfg 5 shields and laser's on drones, secound full speed shields on drones, if your pc not lag, and you have good circling skills, then it should work easy.
