Obviously you can't do that as those colors were company based.

 

But demon, I want a lite and dark purple painted spear.

 

When those special designs were created, they were meant to be company based. There is nothing you can do to change that. All games with company based or light/darkness based, all keep their prime in order to let that be known.

Btw purple with a green glow looks sick as hell... just saying

I think that this is a great idea in principle and would like to change the background on my enforcer to a candy red, keeping the flames as they are, but then I am into old school custom bikes and cars and thats how I roll.

Now for the kicker. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this idea would only be workable IF it could be implemented without causing any performance issues. Every different colour scheme will add a little to the server load and if each ship is a different colour then imagine the lag it could cause on a busy server like Global Europe. Even the less densely populated servers would have real problems at peak times

We complain about the performance now....
