what happened to the wonderful function that let you turn uridium into credits lmao. was wondering about it on my way out to somewhere lol. also vote if you would like it back, i say yes

 

I voted against this idea. I understand your point, but I think that credits are way too abundant right now and there is no need to flood the game with any more.

After looking at the bidding market it is apparent that we have a serious problem with credit inflation. 10 billion credits on an aegis on USA East 1 is beyond outrageous.

 

First of all, why would you want to turn your Uridium, into credits? That's stupid, because you're wasting your uridium ( which is actually quite hard to have lots of, if you don't spend/aren't cable of farming cubes). I think that function was made, to try and scam players into buying more uridium. Because if they use there uridium to transform it into credits, they'd want more uridium to use on repairs etc...

 

I suggested earlier this week we be allowed to turn credits into Uri.
Earning credits is very easy if you simply play and work at it.

 

That would be nice i reckon credits into uri. the value should be 100m credits 5 k uridium

thers No way ill change uri for Creds ok 100 uri for 10mil Naa i wont.. and ther is still some off the old Zombis that have a Lot off creds so they will rule the bids for some time

DUDE? u are REMOVED kiding me? build skylab--> turn off seprom module--->send and sell prom instant---> here you go, uri into credits, and how much you will get depends on ur cargo and ur honor.

 

There is absolutely no reason these days to have the option to buy credit.

Lets look at the current bids for the new auction 1bil + credit for 250k uri items. At 10k uri for 100k credit we are looking at 100 mil uri for a 250k uri auction item. Why would you want the option back?

 

I don't see much of a point in bringing that back. When I first played this game back in July 2011 I saw that the uri-to-creds function traded uri for creds at a ratio of 1:10. Putting things into perspective You could have 600k uri which is enough to buy 60 B02 shields, enough to kit out a goli and nearly enough for a vengi as well (if they both just had 8 iris.)

If you traded that in you would be left with 6mil creds which is a fairly risky bid for one B02.

If it was brought back then the uri:cred ratio would have to more much more substantial than it was in the past. This feature was rarely used due to the horrendous ratio. Now maybe if the ratio was something like 1:1000 it would be worth it more (for lower level players at least) but bringing it back as it was before would be just pointless.
