PET In Combat Bug

Is DarkOrbit bothering to fix the pet in combat bug? Getting tired of having to relog because some scrub decided to shoot my pet in pally and it won't cloak back up... nor can i repair it.

 

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing, not sure if it's an issue or is supposed to do that. It's acted like that for quite a while now. Only way to stop it is to either log out or jump a port.

Or to put it into Guard mode and shoot something. That works also

 

That does nothing....


And FT, it's an issues, it is a bug DO has yet to fix, and it's quite annoying.

Putting the pet in rep mode fixes this....IF your pet has damage to rep...after that switch back to collector ....I think ppl do this on purpose in pali to stop you from switching configs to pull the pet another direction. Its annoying

 

No the issue is, you can not repair the pet when it is shot, nor can you get it to cloak back up without refreshing. or jumping port. And obviously im not jumping out of 5-3 and going around.

 

how do you get your pet to repair when it has no hp

 

1: Don't hijack a thread for another question.
2: When the pet has no HP you click the repair option that shows where you normally press for it activate or deactivate. You need uridium to repair it after lvl 3. Or if you're premium it's free.
3: If you mean when it just needs to be repaired even when it has hp, you need the pet repair gear from shop.

 

I know what you're saying demon..If the enemy player still has a lock on your pet, it will be stuck yes. But if they shoot it , then lock something else, you then can put pet to rep , and fix its position again....If the enemy keeps the lock on it then yeah...you just gotta go find em and pop em then : )

 

If a player enemy or not shoots a pet, we can not repair it, or cloak and have it cloak as well. Nor can it be deactivated. And if you are cloaked and someone shoots it, it stays decloaks until you jump port, or re-log. I don't see why i should waste my time every 10-15 mins because some nerd isn't happy my pet took his pally in 5-3 and shoots it, then i have to deal with the 3+ UFE raiders jumping me because they saw my decloaked pet sitting next to me.

I don't really see how a pet being shot then 2 hours later it says still in combat is part of that game... but thanks, i look forward to the answer lol.

 

Hello Demon,

I would think that if the PET is showing still in combat, you might want to take a look at your flash player as it may not be processing the information properly.

Well i'm not the only one with this issue, and my flash player is fine, everything up to date, and my system mechanics pro finds no issues with anything.

 

As it was just a suggestion, I have still passed on the issue.

I know it was only a suggestion just a little frustrated it hasn't been fixed after all this time. Having to relog over and over again in 5-3 is getting on my nerves. And people wonder why i company kill so much...

I have seen some odd things past couple days on it, today i confirmed it. Not all the time is it bugging out like this. I heard it being shot and set it to guard mode. It instantly shot the guy shooting it.. I proceeded to give him a free ticket to base.. tsk tsk company pet shooters never learn eh? Anyways, it didn't do the stuck in combat thing, but 15 mins later someone shot it again and it did. it had done it before hand as well.

 

I will confirm that this happened to me again today, had to kill the guy for it.

This new feature / glitch is makin me look bad ya know Astraea !
