Pallying Rate

How much Palladium could you collect per hour hour if you had a Spearhead with max speed and a pet with level 3 resouce collector? You and your pet have to be both collecting at the same time. You are part of the dominate company which means no hunters would disturb you.

The P.E.T can pick palladium but it will vary every time. If you are part of a good clan then there would be less interference from enemy pilots but there will be few pilots out there who will hunt you down. The exact number of palladium you can collect in 1hr can be answered by other players as I don't go into palladium fields to collect palladium

The question / answer will also depend on Technic. Working out the best flow, area, pattern for collecting palli makes a big difference. When I was collecting palli I could collect without a pet, not far off what the average player with a pet, was able to collect.

 

And the rate of that would be?

 

When I used to collect pally in a goli with pet (lvl3 res +8 lvl3 radars) I would probably get around 1500 per hour. Using a spearhead with the same equipment on the pet I would increase this to 1800 per hour. I would collect at the same time as the pet and reset it when it fell into same pattern as other pets or inconsiderate players

It's been quite a number of months since I collected any pally though.

That's a much lower rate than I expected. Is your pally map crowded?

 

I have slightly less AI for the pet as Whoeva, and use a Goli, and get about the same.

Sometimes I can do even better like 2000 per hour, but sometimes when its crowded, say 20+ ships in 5-3, I can get as low as 1000 per hour with pet.

So it varies. 1000-2500 per hour is a wide, but accurate range.

 

Thank you and a quick question: is the pally in 5-3 as dense as terbium in 1-3?

 

Most of that was early in the mornings so I wouldn't say it was crowded at all. Sometimes only a handful of other players but that means more npcs for me to have to deal with. Pally will only respawn when there's so many pieces remaining so I think it helps to have more players in there sometimes to keep it respawning faster.

In answer to the new question, some patches can be quite dense but on average no, it's nothing compared to 1-3.

 

That explains the slow rate of collection.

In my vengie with pet I usually get 2100 to 2600 per hour.I don't fight anything just
collect.

 

Good rate, is your pally map crowded?

 

Sometimes it is. I just collect never fight unless i have to.I also do 20mins @ a time
relog & continue.

 

Hmm. When it is crowded how many people would you say there are collecting pally with you?

 

On my server when its crowded it to many to count however palli concentrations seem to be higher.Thats why palling in a vengie/pet works for me. I got 1.2 mill sheild/full speed gen.Almost nothing beats me and my pet to oreand if a enemy/npc pull up
I just burn them then continue palling.
