Ok, what

So I was derping around in a PvP map boxing when someone in a goli ran up and chased me towards the portal, but killed me before I got there. But here's the thing- I'm in a vengi with full 7900's and prom put in the engines, but he still managed to catch up to me. I was going full throttle. Now, I'm no mathematician, but I'm pretty sure the golis top speed of 540 is a lot slower than the vengis top speed of 576. And that's not just a little faster, that's a pretty significant difference... So how exactly could he catch up to me?

It might happen due to lag or he might have hit you by DCR rockets and also it depends on your flight pattern, experienced people would destroy or chase you down.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

Ok, I'm just going to assume it was lag because I flew in a straight line and he started off directly behind me, and I didn't get hit with any DCR's, because I didn't slow down, the other guy was just somehow faster, plus that bubble dealie didn't appear around my ship. Close it I guess. Thanks you two
