DO stop adding please.

First of all, let me say that DO makes Great items, ships, ammo etc. And Great battles are won with Great Items, ships, ammo and etc.

So a few years ago, I remember doing a winter quest where it gave me 20k uridium, then Of course I spent the uridium on REP-4 repair bot. This was Before Rep-4 came out on trade, Once it did come out on trade several weeks after I bought it for uridium, I got frustrated that I spent uridium on a worthless junk that others could get for with just credits.

Few years later I box and boxed in my new acc (my current acc) and got my Spearhead, but not knowing 4 weeks later, people actually got Spearhead for free because they subscribed to newsletter. I got nothing free, support said that it was sent to inactives. My friend said he received a spearhead for free. My friend was also.. ACTIVE as I was too. I also was subscribed to newsletter. But nothing in my mail. Then of course with the new trade, Spearhead started costing credits.

Trust me all active readers, If this continues with DO giving free stuff and adding more stuff in trade. wouldn't you feel ripped off? You spent some time or perhaps $$ in a game to get something where later you find out that someone else received the same item for less time and less $$ And if it continues, maybe one day all drone formation and pet and gears, and LF-4, and everything you know of, Will be in trade.
DO then will be overcrowded with UFE's (we would solve problem with new players complaining, but UFE's wont have as much fun with a bunch of other UFE's)

So all I am asking is for everyone to stop having DO add new things into trade. If you really want to be good at something, go box, do something fun for once and spend some quality time in getting it like the rest of the PRO players. We cannot keep adding and subtracting other people times that they have spent into it already!

I can see where you are coming from, FYI the spearhead came to those who were part of top gamer's club of which you have to earn your place to get in. I too have an Aegis and I too paid 170k uri for it, but think of it this way, you payed all that uri to get the ship before any other non playing ships did and another FYI if you have two accounts, have them registered to two different e-mails, because then you get the codes twice should you get one

 

i got spearhead ship gift but i am not a pay customer (no pay = not top gamer's club) ... so what u say is not valid my friend

This basically means you have to be a long standing player, hitting certain benchmarks to get in, of which paying with real money is not one of them, you can be a paying player or not, and still be part of it. It is based on loyalty to the game, how long you have played, how good you're getting all those kind of things. If you were to start a new ship and spend £5000, it would still take you a little while to become part of top gamer's club.

The spearhead code wasn't part of TGC codes, it was given to players who had an inactive account to encourage them to start playing again.

 

Ohhh xD i hate it when i am wrong haha, All the info i provided about TGC is correct tho rou, and i think you can e-mail support about it

everything you just said is a lie the spear came in the new letter to everyone who had signed up 2 it and 2. i have bin players over 4 years and i played alot i was part of the TGC i was removed with some stupid reason

 

Please do not switch to a different topic, this topic is about Why DO should stop adding free crap to random people or turning uridium stuff into credits in trade

I already hated DO from their previous updates, DO just making me hate it more every second I play it. Yet, it is quite fun and I hope DO don't come to the point that it spoils the whole game (it already did long ago).

If DO wants to give Free stuff, It should be to those who subscribed to newsletter, and It should be evenly distributed among all, such as ammo and uridium for all. Not ships that other players already has.

Key word, 'an'...so atleast another account which you probably haven't played in a long time.

And this is true, i've got a few inactive accounts, on my emails, and i got the code...even though, i'm highly active...just on my main account though. XD

why dont they send the gift to the inactive account then ?

 

They probably did, if you select a server by accident on your main account then it is technically a new account because it has a different UID, but it is directly linked to your main account.
The emails were sent out to inactive UID, so maybe your main has inactive accounts attached to it, I know mine does just from selecting the wrong server in the server menu by accident then never going back on it again. Even thought both accounts are using the same log in details they are technically 2 accounts instead of 1.
It's a bit weird I know but hey, free stuff is good so I'm not bothered about it ^^

As for the thread, giving out free stuff is better than nothing, DarkOrbit is getting better, it will take a while for them to get the game to where they want but it is slowly getting there.
