3-D Galaxy Gates

Please make 3-D models of the galaxy gates for us to look at and move around and view from all angles on the generator page. Being able to zoom in and zoom out would be an additional benefit.

This request is purely aesthetic.

It just gets boring spinning gates sometimes. Make it more interesting is all

 

I do agree. And when you get a part. it flies into place.

 

This would be a great addition to the game. My only concern being that it would need to make use a browser technology called WebGL which not all browsers support (IE10 and below doesn't support it and some browsers only partially support it, meaning that any WebGL technology used would be extremely low quality or laggy.) Still, people who use those browsers I guess would just see the gates as they are now so +1.

 

Yeah it could default back to normal if it automatically is detected that there's some sort of incompatibility. Also, an option to revert to basic graphics would make it customizable in case someone decided for some other reason that it was not right for their gameplay experience

 

Pro response: This idea is pretty cool and would find it somewhat interesting to see.
Con response: The Galaxy Gate page already has a bit of lag, I don't need my computer blowing up.
