Mass bans

ok on GB1 30 mins ago ALOT of people were banned. i wanted to ask will ranks go up or down? also do you think that bp are doing a good job on the game now?

 

we just had a bunch disappear on US west also. But I have a feeling some will be back as there were 2 players in top 9 that I find it hard to believe either of them was usin anything illegal.

 

Same thing has happened on GB2 too, most of top 100 players have dissapeared...went from 120th to 85 place lol.

And ranks would go down...and the company who lost the most players, rank's would go down the most.

 

It is weird, there have been people on my server who don't play but log on once a week to say hi and they have gone.

I think all the people who had their bio / upgrades removed on a past ban wave have been hit again, literally every single one of them. Yet they can all still log on their accounts fine, just they don't show in top user, very weird.

 

i think those are not bann i am not in rank list anymore but i can still play i am still in top 10 ships destroyed i think this is bug

 

GE5 have same problem, general from mmo and basic general from vru aren't on top user on home but if you take a look in hall of fame you can see them, also they can enter on acc without anyproblem so this is just a bag, but also a few players get ban because they used forbiden things.

 

I dont think its bans because i know some people missing who don't cheat at all and have not been active for over a week now?

 

I think it's another False Positive in BP's Ban Dectection Scripts. I have 4 people I know who definately do not run a thing on this game. I find it funny how certain people in this game are definately useing programs and have been caught on HyperCams continually that are sent into Support, but nothing happens to these people. Others I know who dont and will not cause they got caught in the 1st ban wave,..and are now Banned or lost there rank. Somethings wrong here!

 

I have never cheated in this game and just discovered that i went up in rank like 300 places and i didnt even kill anybody and if do ban me for a week for their own mistake i probably never play this game again. Personaly i think the game is going worse and worse there used to be more players, the greedyer do gets the less players there will be.

 

The people who lost there rank in the system where the ones who got cought last time

 

So why are they being punished now,..and when you say caught the last time,..which do you mean? The 1st Stage ban wave or the False Positive ban wave a few months ago?

 

Support say it's just a bug and don't think it's a proper punishment, would be odd to do it now so long after they were caught.

Suppose we will just have to wait and see though, support have been given wrong information from the devs in the past and it is weird that it only effected those who were caught.

 

So your saying that all these bans, that have been going on all day btw,..are a big mistake and these players are getting their accounts and rank back?

This morning I went up 7 Rank points, and hour later I went down 1 rank ,..3 hours later I went up 4 Ranks.

 

There was a recent series of bans with a number of users removed. In addition, there were also some bugfixes being performed on the ranking system - as a result, some users were removed from the rankings unintentionally. Support is currently working on a fix, so it should be corrected shortly. Stay tuned to the Official Announcments for more details.

lately the only way Ive been able to Rank up is to stay off line and ship my Seprom cause It takes 2 lifetimes to save any, now that I have all 10 Drones.. they are Seprom Hogs..

same in GA1 a friend told me that BP is just checking their ranks and they will be back. I actually dont know what this is but i went 200 positions lol im not that into rank but this is a lot of positions

 

because of this some of the members of my clan r in top 20k up and our clan's rank dropped to 6.. what the hell is going on bp?

not everybody who got caught on cam are using any programs many peaople recorded me when i was killing them and send it to support that i am using autlock but nothing happened because i dont use anything and they can not do ****

 

Then you be one of the ones we were hyper caming. This is not on subject of this thread. Unless you were effected in rank or had your account banned, you have no reason to comment. Just because it hasn't happened yet don't mean it won't, btw
