Max shield of 2014

Many have wondered about what max shield they can get once they became the ultimate space fighting champion of their own tiny little server, Max shield would be great with a few drone formations such as crab or double arrow to help so they wont pop for running out of hp.

I also too got curious and couldn't find the answer for maximum shield for all ships. so I calculated it myself. (information may be wrong)


lets say M stands for max shield

A= (how ever many shield slots your ship holds +20(1.2)(1.5)) for the number of drones and drone lvl 6 with hercs
B=if the ship is goliath or vengeance, add 10% for shield designs
C= 1.25 the ship PP has shield engineering and has a miniature or big bubble around it,
D= 1.10 the ship has a drone formation such as heart
E= 1.5 boosters doubled 50%
F= 1.4 seprom on ship 40%
G= 1.15 lvl 16% drones and shields add on 15%

The answer for all ship's maximum shield would be calculated as:
f(M)=10,000(A+20(1.2)(1.15))(B)(1.25)(1.5)(1.4)(1.15)

Phoenix: f(M)=10,000(1+20(1.2)(1.15))(1.25)(1.5)(1.4)(1.15)
M= 949,698.75

Dang, that's a lot of shield for each ships!!!
but somehow everytime I punch in the numbers, Citadel seems to have less shield than others such as aegis and bb, and I remember someone saying that they had 2 million shields, But as you can see.. none of these are close to 2 million, Goliath is about 150k off.

My calculations are obviously wrong, but its worth a shot. And yes please do correct it if you find any errors, or tell me what I should've added. thanks

You haven't included upgraded drones ...nor bo2's so the shield maximum would be greater, than what you've calculated.

 

the 10,000 in the beginning of the formula is the BO-2's and it multiplies to how ever many you have.

the drones are lvl 6 types, and are upgraded to lvl 16 in the formula too.

 

lol well just looking at it there all wrong as a cit has 40 slots for b02s and a goli has 35 and yet a goli has more then a cit lol

But the Slide-Rulership approach is good.. will load up all my Bo-2 all level 16 and post answer after I get back from the Licker Store.. and after MegaHappy Hour.

 

yes, that's why I said my calculation were wrong, but of course goli might have a chace of beating the citadel,

Goli has bastion, sentinel, etc desings,

but my calculator wont add up the citadel quite right, somehow a bigboy has more than citadel..

 

bigboy is the same as goli generator slot wise, just less guns and hp

 

Hmm according to my calculations maximum shield for goliath is:

Drones: 10000 * 1,35 * 1,15 * 1,15 * 20 = 357 075
(herc+lvl6 drone * upgrage lvl 16 drone * upgrade lvl 16 shield)
Ship: 10000 * 1,15 * 15 = 172 500
Total = 529575

Adding: shield design, heart, pilot bio, boosters, seproms:
529575 * 1,1 * 1,1 * 1,25 * 1,5 * 1,4 = 1 682 060
Did I forgot anything?

 

yes, but the goliath adds up the shield designs
bigboy doesn't have a shield design

 

i know people who do not have upgraded bo2s but still get 1.6 mil shield in a spectrum goli with double boosters, id say these are way off :O

 

Your off... you made it so that shields on your drones and shields on your ship have the exact same bonuses. For example the shield bonus that the Hercules gives you doesn't affect the shields on your ship, only the shields on your drones. But in your function it did. And you completely forgot about the extra bonus of have full Hercules.

 

full hercs does not give an extra shield bonus, only hp, but each herc gives 15% bonus to shields on that drone.

 

what? I did add shield to drones only, im confused. And having all hercs doesn't affect u in anyway with shields, it just give you extra hp.

 

did you include 5% from kappa booster?

No, you made it so that the 20% bonus from having level 6 drones ALSO affect the shield generators on your ship and you also made it so that the 15% bonus of Hercules ALSO affect the shield generators on your ship. The point is that some bonuses are exclusive to shield generators equipped on your drones but you made it so that all shield generators whether they were equipped on your ship or on your drones share the same bonuses.

In your first post cita and spear have same shield.

Also you forgot the shared booster.

I meant the pro booster of MHH. When u stand close enough to other with pro booster u can get 50% again on top. This also isn´t included here.

dont give away the Farm.. thats how I get Facial hair.. so I can Blend in with the other HU-mans. Shared Boosters whether they are HP, Shield, Damage or HighChair Booster chair can be useful.
