Aegis Or Design?

Hi there,

I am thinking about purchasing an Aegis However, I'm not sure if I should go with an design like the Dimminisher?

Could the members of this community please recommend one to me, with the pros and cons?

The Aegis will benefit you more, and it'll pay for itself in the long run. Diminisher will not.

Since both the Aegis ship and Diminisher design are available in auction, I would suggest to go for Aegis first as it help you a lot in farming with a diamond formation.

Save up credits to win the aegis in auction. Use aegis to make even more credits to win the diminisher in auction. As Darth points out the aegis will benefit you much more regarding what you can achieve in the game vs the goli design.

 

I agree, Only because Aegis' abilities cool down quicker, and there's more than one, vs a single use special with any of the Goli special designs.

Even if you're just sessoning cubes for creds and uri, the extra uses from the Aegis specials over time will outweigh any of the Goli skills.

Don't underestimate the Goli skins tho. They may, depending on your style, be more beneficial in a pvp situation than Aegis, but that is very debatable.

I have 4 of the Goli skins (but no Aegis yet) and I use each of them to session cubes, all the Goli abilities work great to save ammo / time (except spectrum, due to lack of damage you inflict).....

with that said .. the next big item I get will be a 2nd hanger and an Aegis lol.

Few words

Aegis ..HP repair/Shield repair every few minutes ,great ship for gates or palla as well as ship for every map

Diminisher used to be good ship ,not anymore...Obsolete

 

It's obsolete to get an additional 50% damage against an enemies shields ????

It still is a very nice ability to have....and could beat an equal goli with Sentinel skin, as that only reduces damage taken to shields by 30%...leaving 20% more damage even then.

assuming 92% of the damage you deal goes to enemies shield....on an rsb/X4 combo of say 120,000 (which is low these days) ..you hit an extra 60,000 damage?? that's great, even if it only hits shields....and it cannot be countered by an EMP.

 

if you are UFE.. then diminisher somehow in battle is better if you know the right time to use it.. aegist ummm i bought it and since i became UFE i dont find it useful anymore unless is to defend my bases, but im more of a fighter than a back up.

 

When enemy can sport 1 mil plus shields and still hit trough yours with impunity ....it becomes game of attrition ...by the time you get his shields down you re dead .

Fully kitted Aegis with ability cooldown boosters can not only repair his shields but hp as well,add into mix emp and battle rep bot and you are history

If question was Spectrum or Aegis ...answer would be same
