PET Range

    I have a level 19 ship.
    I have a level 15 PET.
    I have a level 3 Auto-looter.
    I have 12 Level 3 Radars on my PET.

    So why does my PET have the range of a potato gun?

    With what I've spent for all the protocol slots and radars this thing should be going further than the end of my nose looking for boxes.

    be4 the forums was changed i did as in ideas for something to tell up pet rage and we never got it so tells me that bigpoint dont wanna tell us the range

    it works like this:
    lets say your pet goes for a box. then from that box he goes no another one farther and farther... untill he reaches its total range..
    i know i asked the same question, but thats what support answered me.

    I like potatoes......lets make some chips......I think your pet needs the darkorbit whisperer to set it straight.

    In my experience, ( i am level 19, level 15 pet, level 3 auto collector 12 radars) for my pet to go and collect something i have to go and see the ore my self then and only then will my pet go on a mission to find the rest in it's range, it's as if it has activation range or something. Hope this helps

    P.E.T. goes further when collecting bonus boxes rather than palladium.. almost 2/3 of the map.. also related, with enemy locator i can see the top right cube from bottom left port in 1-6 with 10 lvl 3 radar.. u would think the collectors would range at or near that. It is good to move every few minutes so your pet will see a rock or box to go after and get out there a ways.... its kind of like flying a kite.. u have to get it going and it will take off :)

    Astraea - lol - that answer was as clear as mud. I took off all but 1 radar and my PET is still collecting from the same range. So I guess all the uridium spent was a lesson learned. You can close it.

    Grumpy my pet will go from top to bottom of palla field but seems to be limited horizontally... your guess is as good as anyone's i think. Im also 300k uri on lvl 3 radars.

    I have one more "all the uridium spent was a lesson learned", Fuel cost more with Fuel protocol. Try to calculate 1 + ( [PET Level] * 2 ) + ( [Ai Protocols equipped] * 2 ) + ( [Gears equipped] * 4)

    That's why i run my pet with one Protocol, one gear, and left it at lvl 10... it also has no lasers and one shield though they might not matter. But thx, where did u get this info?
