so the compensation is clearly not enough.....

I would have expected an extra day on my box doubler and rebate....

Yeh very poor, all the clans that got their bases popped because of this must be raging at that, i would be.

 

If we get any compensation at all, I predict it will a day of say 5% ep and or honour. This seem to be the norm.
Not that it is compensation, its more of a marketing ploy to get more players to play that day.

 

LOL I should have checked the OA before making the above post as this was the compensation.

As usual we get the marketing ploy attempting to get us to play more but hay it is 2 days this time.
Still nothing to do compensation though.

Dam for once I gave DO/BP credit;... for a 2 day event, when it was just 24hrs LMOA
<can't believe I missed that I thought. , but hay it does give everyone the same chance to be suckered into playing more / (or even worse ) spending more for that 24hr without discriminating where you live in the world.

Not that my 6 or 12 month prem really made that much difference to DO/BP's profit £40/year ( but the hundreds of thousands of us that stopped probably did ) back in 2010; in protest to how DO/BP was treating its customers; I stopped spending.

and I'm still waiting for DO/BP to treat us; their customers; the people that pay their wages; better than they have since late 2009 /2010.

Anyone that spend money on DO, Just ask yourself... DO you get value for money?

Any pseudo wannabe skilful players that spend £/$K to win... I have a Question for you:-

Would you rather play a game that is full of like minded people that play for fun / recreation, with a playing field that is almost level were you have the edge if you want it
or
Play a game that your spend £/$K to bully most that don't stand a chance to feel naively superior;
spend £/$K gain that badge / Tu rank that you have been chasing;

spend hourK £/$K struggling to maintain that position ( in my cynical view (note often when I post in my cynical view it is for legal reasons ) that DO has been suckering you into playing a farming game that is not the game you signed up to.

I know That's why I elaborated on your thread Always gd to see ya in GB1 chat and in the forum.
