Threat Meter CPU

  1. Works in any of your company maps the same as in your X-1 and X-2 maps. See when the enemy is out hunting so you can defend your home.

    Available limited to certain times of the year. Uridium purchase only item.

  2. cool but too expensive, somehow i feel it would take the fun out of the game.
    you know that surprise element of finding an enemy in your map.

  4. I like it really no point in the threat meter in x-1 maps, and 2-2 there never anything in there anyhow.
     
  5. Will be a no from me. I don't want to go into enemy maps knowing that everyone is sitting at port because they know an enemy is in there.

  6. If the price on the item is high the number of players with it would be small. It would then basically require a ship sitting around monitoring each map round the clock and we all know that's not going to happen. And it would require the ship with the CPU to open up and tell the others someone is in.

    Where it would be most helpful is in the balance between hunters and defenders. High-end Defenders would be able to coordinate defenses of maps and know how many are out there, especially during CBS prime times.
     
  7. True but it would not balance anything out. FE players also hunt and have enough with people staying on ports or CBS while it my balance out kinda with UFE players for weaker hunters it would hurt us badly as in people already rarly leave port once they see an 8 drone enemy and to know an unknown in a map?. It would also make it harder for invaders to stay in a certain map being actively hunted down. Since they'd know even if one person to be able to hunt them down. At 250k uri most likely UFE players or people who have extra change would also help to disturb that balance already giving them an advantage over weaker hunters just to the fact hey know somethings there.
    Not to mention you do not know there is someone from your company in the map raising it even further.

  9. 250k is a lot of uri. Be my guest spending that much on something mostly useless.

  10. Wait, I completely disagree with this idea. This is a pvp game, it is like hide and seek, I can agree that we all want to hunt stealthy. This CPU isn't needed. Defenders? Most Defenders are port huggers.
     
  11. The are 3 types of players - hunters, defenders and gatherers - offensive, defensive and sitting ducks. roflmao

    This would be a defensive tool also available to the sitting ducks. Granted it would make the hunter's job a bit harder but considering every hunter brags about their 200 to 1 kill ratio I don't see where this would be a problem.
     
  12. It's not a problem in my opinion, it's just kinda useless especially for 250k uridium. Have a speed config with shields and you should get away most of the time from hunters in lowers. That way there's no need to watch the threat bar and port sit when you see activity.

    no . its a pvp game .u have npcs to grow .but anyway .. the idea is non sense. u signed up for a pvp game . player vs player .. then don't complain that there are enemies

    may we remember, spearhead has the double radar ability which comes in extremely useful when on cbs. A threat meter would give you away too easy, and would allow enemies to prepare for you as it only takes one player in that map to warn the rest of the company.
     
  17. Your opinion. Your opinion is that a hammer was created for the sole purpose of caving in heads and carving knives are only on the earth to be used by mass murderers in killing sprees. OK, we understand. You see the world in that light. But not everyone on this game agrees with you.

    There are a lot of players who are here who are not as interested in the PvP aspect of the game as much as you are. I'm not saying that PvP is not a major part of the game. It certainly is.

    People do not create countries and nations as a place to house their armies and weapons. Although offense and defense are important there's more to it that that.

    My opinion. If you disagree, that's fine. I can tell you the sky is blue. If you care not to believe it, go argue with the sky.

    its not like that .. stop trying to get out of it .. its a pvp game after all .player vs player.. don't like playing against other players ? then 2 bad .u chose the wrong game
     
  19. I HAVE AN IDEA
    What if its a mine using item so it lasts only like 5 seconds or something like that and has a cool down?

    AND/OR it's range is like half a regular map so it's not too overpowering
