switching servers

I am currently playing on global America. The server just does not seem like it's for me anymore. The chat is never very active when i am online, if it is there are only a few in it having a quick conversation. The whole clan aspect seems to be almost non-existent. I would like to be switched to a better server if that is at all possible. Some of my friends told me the USA East 1 is a good one. If it can be done I don't actually care which server just a smaller one, they seem to have better clan/company unity. I enjoy spending time chatting with people I know and that is going away quickly. I would just start a new account but I have made too much progress for that. The User ID is 53085288. I hope this was the right section. I could not find private tech. It is very possible to switch servers, however, you will lose all your ship's equipment and your ship itself. It will be as if you were creating a new account, but with the same username.

On the top left of the back page, click on the button next to the Home button. That will bring you to a server list and pick the server you want.

 

That is not switching servers, that's just playing on multiple servers. Because your original one stays right? I know there is not an option on the screen I am asking to be moved. If I can't be I am going to put it on the idea section.

 

It is not possible to Switch Servers. In the old forums, people would put this in the idea section all the time, however, Support and the moderators have always stated that it is not possible to move your stuff from one server, into another, due to a coding problem.

 

Ok, well maybe that coding problem has been fixed and if it has you wouldn't know or you would have an admin or something like that by your name. Thanks for trying to help but it's really worth the try to me.

 

Dude, cooljak knows what he is talking about. It is NOT possible to switch servers at the moment. If anything changed, it would have been posted in the OA.

 

He might be I never said he was wrong but if it was possible it doesnt mean it would be put in the game. I've been on this game a while, so I know there are things that can be done by request. I don't know that this is one of them but like I said its worth my time to ask.

 

Don't even bother asking support. They will just tell you the same thing as I said above then ignore you.

The answers given above are correct. It is not now or has it ever been allowed to move your ship and equipment from one server to another. You are able to play multiple servers by starting a new ship on each one but you cannot move your ships around. I am afraid that this is not going to change anytime soon.
