How to get more UFE in the game?

    I agree with most on this but ...as you no they will not listen . I think there should be events where you can earn gates like on seafight or heck fb could help what they do is they post there gonna give a way lets say 3 beta gate all put ur id in and they will pick 3 people at random therefor it gives people bigger chance and its a gd idea
     
  2. I voted other on this as easier to obtain equipment will eventually lead to more LF5 - B03 etc as would cheaper uri prices.

    Increase uri payout on NPC or possibly a new all company map with a limited number of icy to keep competition going between companies.

    Take a serious look at the value for money aspect on some of the cash packages as I feel that some of them really really stink which people eventually realise which does BP no favours for customer relations and retention.

    I think they should give us a chance to drop it the bonus-boxes. So everybody will get easier a lf4-laser.

    Either more uridium in NPCs or you can change credits to uridium^^.
    But this way is so easy, so the can increase the uridium-values.

    the lf3 and bo2 should be 50% off ( yes I'm ufe I worked for it hard etc but I still agree with it ) double the rewards from npc .not necessary rank point but uri credits xp honor cargo etc. they should hire some people that actually care about this game and help the players make uri cheaper ..since bp already gets 100% profit .make it 20-40 % cheaper ..increase the change in gg to get more parts .(the chance now is not accurate it is way to low and it sucks)

It truly isn't hard to get UFE, you just need to work for it, but with players who botted having it all and making it unfair for those trying to work, it's difficult in its own way for the smaller players. All we need is DarkOrbit to grow a pair, and just perma ban or RESET all those caught and staged, and obviously make sure they actually botted cause their system has caught legit players as well.

  7. There are a few reasons why its hard to get ufe because the uri you buy hasn't gone up and npc uri has all stayed the same from day one and take the chance factor out, sort them things out and im sure there will be more uberplayers about etc.

    All this has been said over and over for years you think they will ever listern to what the community actually ever wants ?

    I'll start by saying;
    this thread will get even less positive outcome from any average players gaming experience than the Seph's "Producers Dialog"

    There was 171 post and 41515 view in that thread which was started by a team member wanting to make a change.

    Nothing addressed in that thread was acted upon, as a direct result of the players efforts to post the issues we had.

    In my cynical view the DO /BP drivers have never changed since the game was turn into a money pit cheap excuse for a farming game, packaged as a (Free 2 play
    :rolleyes:) space PVP/ PVE game.
    For any that Played DO before 2010 we was lucky enough to experience the game we signed up to back then.

    The simple fact is;
    the game is so far removed from a balanced war game with spenders (WW) having a reasonable advantage it is little better than a sad excuse for a farming game wrapt up to look like a space game.

    There will always be in threads like this, most suggestions based on what will help each players playing style / financial contribution. See above.

    The fact is what is need is a reduction in the stupid gulf between the UFE with full battle elite items and the average player.

    In my cynical view this will never happen, we only need to look at the new auction:-

    In the good days all item like lf4's would be in the hourly auction. They were not even put in the weekly auction more likely because enough Uber WW didn't want to loose there Uber bully advantage. How sad.

    If do really wanted to turn the game around then they would focus on giving the average player spender a chance of catching up with the UFE players.

    If they wanted to churn WW then they would carry on as they have.

    We only need to look at the latest quests update.

    In my cynical view, It is design to allow any new ( WW ) player to reach lvl 21 fairly easily. To get any further will take Uber spending if you start today.

    I'll even go so far to suggest a cynical conspiracy theory that the new weekly auction is design to get players using the ad option to send more prem.

    I was going to post a anti-pushing thread in the updates section but the more I thought about it the more I cynically realised it did not fit with DO making as much money as they can any way they can.

    My simple suggestion has been the same for years now:-

    Reduce the cost of all item over time.



    Bio was the beginning of the end for free players £450 for 50pps. :eek::rolleyes:

    Selling uri cheaper would just not work, the WW would just spend less.

    Making items cheaper over time would, as the Uber WW would get then as soon as they came out. the players would get them as they became an acceptable cost for the gain.


    Free players would still be able to get them in a reasonable time frame. Not the year or never we see these days.

    This, like the many threads wanting a change in strategy, is just a chance for DO/BP to find the next potential money spinner rather than how to make the game the quality game it once was.:(


    In a nut shell that just about sums up the issues we see these days.

    It doesn't need to be that way.
    I would say BP/DO was totally surprised at how much they made from players buying 50PPS outright and the many other that got them in the first few months.

    I guess this dictated the development of the game form that point on.
    From a game that was addictive to play with a community spirit, where skill, tactics and effort was rewarded;
    to a game that is driven by how to get easy money from the fickle few that sadly throw money at feeling superior.


    Having followed actual in game players wk on wk compared to accounts shown in the ranks / company stats for the last couple of years for GB1;

    It would seem there is more top ranking players ( ranked above TU 200 ) playing regularly, with the average amount of players pretty much the same as a year ago.
    I would suggest that the new quests were designed to get the few new potential WW to start spending, then spend more and more.

    As long as there are enough WW to spend stupid money, to farm pixels, perceiving them to boost their ego, then the game will continue with the same aim to:- to sucker anyone into buying massive advantage to naively feel superior.

    Aboslutely true. I was very upset, when the PP came and I calculated the costs. The game was going down from that point. Now, I play it only at some inertia from past times in fact and not much.
     

  11. How bout some new quests and possibly new maps? It doesnt take long to do all the current quests, with the exception of the pvp quests you can knock most of them out in about 5 or 6 weekends if you do them in an outfit.

    Maybe some quests for lvls 21 and up for those of us that have done all the current quests, hunting gets boring with no one in the maps workin on quests.

    Guess I missed the secondary title of thread. Not sure how making it easier to get ufe would make game better, but I would like to have more quests to do while I am workin on getting ufe.

    In my cynical view the latest round of quest was just to find a few new WW who can reach lvl20 then have to spend crazy money to get further. Quest for lvl21 and above is a minority of player and as can be seen from the last quest the top players did the majority of them in a week or two.
    New maps why? there isn't enough players in the current maps.

    Farm farm farm farm ... It would be so good to see a return of the game the veterans here signed up to. A space war game which required skill tactic and effort to do well at.

  14. Atleast new maps would mean new npcs and more possible quests. Maybe a new mineral more valuable than palli to bring back the big battles like we used to have in bmaps when boxing was a viable way to earn uri and gate spins.

  15. I agree with everything but #5. Good going pecanin.
    Chose cheaper uri because if they either increase the uridium amount or lower the price, it makes it easier for us to get equipment. They want people to work for it right? Well I work for my money so I should get something out of it. To date, the only money I've spent on uri was the 50% off 75k uridium deal. I will not buy uridium at $100 for 330k. That's highway robbery.
     
  16. $100 for 330k URI yes is a rip! on a mega hour it gives just over 1 million URI, which in today's game is still a rip!!

    It was $100 for 330k 6 years ago, yet the COST of everything has gone way up... BIO...upgrades.. cost to build gates.. etc.

    I think if this rip! continues too much longer Dark Orbit will actually see the letters R.I.P after their name.

    Anything that gives more reward faster the harder you hit will just reduce revenue as WW will not need to spend so much.

    I would suggest that DO realises that WW will spend crazy money to maintain there position/rank.

    As I have been pointing out for years now:-

    What is needed is an honest
    ( I say this as the removal of the items from trade basically resulted in them costing more credit for new players. )
    reduction in obsolete items and any item over time.

    This will marginally help the average player while in real terms allowing skilled WW to maintain there advantage;
    ( To the devs, it will increase the consumables usage so give WW that already have UFE something to spend there money on
    ;))

    but sadly I see too often weak sad insecure WW being unnecessarily scared of DO redressing the balance in the game.

    For anyone being against lf3s being 10k credit items or even 250k credit items, seeing Zeus and apis being reduced in price( or better still increase in % yield from Booty Boxes) BIO pps required for each addition skill being significantly reduced. Upgrades costing less etc. etc;

    It would be better for the game in so many ways, even WW ego, as you will still be able to buy the advantage in most cases so will more earn the ego rather than buy a sad ego boost from farming.


    I would say it is sad that WW insecurities are preventing the game being once again great.
