game flickers

Hi, when I am being shot at by either player or npc my ship is flickering in a very bad way and has caused a severe headache just after doing 2 waves of kappa, is this related to the update today, if not please advise me on how to fix it as i can't play like this.

DO teamed up with the NHS so you have to buy Paracetamol, they take 10% commission .

 

I haven't seen this, best to write support and notify them of the issue.

if they cared it would be fixed ..yet they put more rubbish like contact list on ship page but dont fix lag?...

 

i still see we are kept in the dark

I know before i said i didn't have this, but as of last night it started occurring, and seriously ups the lag.

I know that you are frustrated, and I do apologize for the delay in responding.

As we are looking in tot he matter, however I have attempted to test this matter on my account and have had no issues and could not replicate the issue.

However I recently switched to a new beta browser from Mozilla called Nightly.

I used the standard verision and it raised my fps from 30-55 and My Memory usage went down from 740 to 360.

As always we recommend clearing the cache and flash player data.
I hope that this is helpful in someway.

p.s we are still going to attempt to investigate this matter further.

 

Thank you for the reply, it is appreciated. Would you leave the post open for now and give us information about anything we can try apart from flash and cache related, or hopefully a final fix for the issue please.

 

It does seem to be a rare case ASTRAEA, i didn't have it for awhile, the one night i got spammed with it. I don't have it today either, but it doesn't mean it won't show up more, i also got it that night after clearing everything up. I think it's just one of those bugs you see on occasion.

 

right as i have found out this was an old bug awhile ago and to get rid of it u have to right click on the screen click quality and set it to low its a temp fixed but has bin working 4 me

 

the flicker is because of the shield mechanics bubble causing the ship to disappear while being shot we had a same type of issue with the bio before which changed it to a black bubble ie the anti bubble hopefully the techs will look into the mechanics design and fix it its seriously annoying and lag is ridiculous on any browser

To me i see it only happens when there are numerous laser shots, as if the shield as said 2 posts above is having too much trouble with the graphics, i only notice when it's about 3 players or npcs shooting lasers and rockets.
