Friends bonus update.

Is it just me;
Or is this just another way for the cheats to get some more rare stuff in the vain attempt of DO/BP to get a handful of new WW to keep the waning cash cow "A once great game" on life support.

Lets look at the GB1 EP listing distribution:-



The red Ellipse shows a major increase in account having level 7 or 8 that have not added any EP in 7 days ( in fact most of these accounts never add ep once reaching this level.) Noting in theory they would be removed after 4 weeks of inactivity.
So they are either artificially being kept there, or are active for other reasons that actually playing the game.
(The grey Ellipse is in my opinion are more likely to be the accounts associated with credit and ship kill pushing. So it is likely that these accounts are used in the same way)

There are currently around 1500 players adding EP in 7 days on GB1 with 550 accounts level 7 and 8 active but not adding any EP so a third as many Accounts that do not add EP. ( that's ignoring the lvl4,5,6 accounts as it is not directly relevant to this thread.)
We have recently seen the addition of Reloaded to the Darkobit Icon, along with other lame attempt to encourage increased high spending WW uptake.
When are we going to see A drive to level the playing field and actually turn the game around so that WE the playing community get a space PVP / PVE game we signed up to, rather than the excuse for a farming game for bullies we have now.

 

I have to say Pacman your knowledge is admirable, I do not know where you get this information but I am finding this very interesting. I only recently started to browse the forum although I play the game for over 5 years. I have invested a nominal amount of cash spread over my time playing but do not class myself as a `wallet warrior`. With regards to this post and the new bonus system rewards.. It seems, if above info` is correct, that many players already have low level accounts in place but surely these would not count towards the latest bonus scheme as they already registered accounts. If this is the case then creating new accounts to receive this bonus is needed. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths that some players go to just to polish their tiny ego.

I have seen a decline in players matching the increase in new stuff. I seen an enormous increase in bots and eventually action by BP. I give credit to BP on the whole for providing this gaming platform so I can kill my valuable spare time but If I am correct I have to agree with you that BP needs to do far more with regards to ongoing infringement of rules.

PS. with regards to `bonus box doubler` post... This is a pvp game and a farming game

 

It's absolutely 100% impossible to attract 25 new players. At best, everyone gets their friends to make accounts for each other.

 

Hi tεrrσrsωσσρ, as far as I know it will only be new accounts that will go towards the current promotion.

The chart in my view clearly show that the system is being abused.

The data for the chart is from the GB1 EP listing data, comparing that data for the 28/03 and 04/04.
