Event Quest

My brother has a quest called Influence Mission 2, in the "Event Tab" in the NYX station. Yet i don't?

 

Could you please clear you flash and cache and relooad the game and see if that resolves the issue. As the reset should have resolved the issue.

Please let me know if it did not.

hello, i reset cache on all three of my browsers: Chrome, Mozilla and IE. They all failed to show the quests; please could you log on to see if you can view them?

I am having this problem to. I can't see any of the new event missions

If it is any consolation Adobe Flash Player has had a recent update to version 13.0.0.182 so make sure your not running the older version. Also there has been a Java update version 7 Update 55.
I personally use CCleaner to clean all of my caches and registry issues. Free to use and safe.
On cleaning your caches and registry issues if you right click on the client (game page) go to the settings menu click on local storage and move the cursor all the way to the right to unlimited. You will have to do this every time you update and clean caches ect.

java, flash up to date, downloaded ccleaner and deleted about 1gb worth of stuff yet still no quests and now a slower map load lol.

 

You have to click on that padlock that's above your quest list to be able to see quests that are not available at the moment.

 

no, there is also meant to be new event missions which are not displaying on some users accounts. 'You are correct about the normal missions however, but that is not what the OP is after'

i am appalled by the lack of attention i am recieving here, by the time this is sorted i'll have no time to do the quests

 

I think this is the problem....

There are 45 new quests total.

There are 15 new quests for users over level 20. Those appear in the Normal Quests section. The first one "They're in the Walls" activated today. The second one "Gnawing at the Roots" activates tomorrow. etc....

There are 30 new quests on the Events Tab. The first one is "Influence Mission 1", the second is "Influence Mission 2". etc.....

It appears that users over level 20 do NOT have any of the "Influence Mission #" listed under the Events tab.

It's most likely some weirdness that because the ones under the Normal Quests got activated, the Events ones didn't get listed. Seriously... if you don't have them, log on to some random server with the same account and you'll see them. You just won't have them on your main account until they get it sorted.

 

I am sorry for the inconvience, I am passing this information along to have it investigated further.

This issue is not intentional and we are working to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible.

Pretty shocking when the company can't even be bothered to inform a game admin on the simple information regarding a new update. Astraea you must surely be pulling your hair out sometimes with the way they keep you in the dark

 

Somewhat diferent case; I can't see the Event Missions for levels 6-14, but can see those for levels 15-19. So only 15 missions for me.
But on another server with low level ship, as already mentioned above, I can see all Event Missions.

 

Okay I have recently spoken to support and there is no bug, here is how it works:

If you're level 20 or above, you can ONLY see the level 20 quests (which were implemented into the story missions tab), however if you're level 15-19 you can see the event missions, and the level 20 quests. This also occurs for levels 0-14, they can see every quest.


edit: the new quests that were added in the story missions are the event quests for level 20s and above, except theyre permanent.

Ok so if I read this correctly level 0-14 can do 15 Influence Mission which by that time they should level up to level 15 or so then they can do the Influence Mission for level 15-19 and then when they reach level 20 they have 15 more quest so a level 20 player misses out on all the Influence Missions while lower level players get to pound them all out / I do beleave support removed all old quest not to long ago and stated that they did so so that all players would be on a level playing field when it came to the quest system . So why no missions for level 20 on up or should I say why 30 less missions

 

The reply from support stated:
Levels 0-14 can access EVERY event quest for all the levels
Levels 15-19 can access all the quests for their level AND the level 20 ones
Levels 20 + can only access the level 20 quests

I have no idea why they done this, but this is how it works unfortunately, kinda ruins it for me since i love doing the easy event quests.
