Just another drone-idea

Lately, I've seen a whole bunch of different ideas for drones and improvements that could be implemented on them, so I thought I could post one of my own (cant be worse then all the others I guess)

The idea would be to have both Flax and Iris drones at the same time, and here is how:

Every 5 levels up, player would be able to unlock an additional Flax drone slot and fill it with 1 Flax drone, which would mean that a player can have maximum of 8 iris drones + a number of Flax drones based on his level, from 1 up to maximum of 8 Flax drones, when player reaches level 40

This would give some purpose to leveling up and gaining exp, since at the moment there really is no point leveling up after level 20 (except fame of course)

IMPORTANT: a player who would reach level 30 (which means he could have 6 extra Flax drones aside regular 8-10 Iris drones) would unlock the SUPER BONUS POWER - the ability to use two drone formations at the same time (either 2 same or different ones), one on regular drones, and the other on extra Flax drones, which would be really cool in some cases

WOW! ... that's something incredibly crazy...

I could say yes for 2 new drones implemented (Maybe), but more than that is just ridiculously overpowering.

And the fact that this is based on leveling up, makes this idea too Ufe supporting idea.

And using two formations at same time ?!?
It's like trying to be fat and skinny same time... its not even possible...

With all the insane-high exp rewards for new quests, it would be really easy in fact

I did all old missions, and lots of new missions with boosters... haven't reached yet lvl 40 ... lol​

 

You will some day and you need lvl 30 really, for 6 Flax and bonus formation, level 40 is only for fanatics lol

Like I've said, obtaining another drone formation (on level 30 with 6 Flaxes) would count as bonus SUPER POWER, and it should be somewhat more difficult to get

and PLEASE dont tell me you wouldnt wish to use a combo of 2 formations at the same time

Yup, still NO imagination with you people lol

you only see the down sides of everything,

because of people like you for example, we don't have a simple thing like an air-bus on shorter distances (yeah, in 21th century all right), in form of small to mid-size airships (zeppelins), because you don't see the advantages like: reduced traffic jam, faster travel, fuel saving, optimal distance/speed ratio, saving money, making everyone happy n able to get in time where they're going, etc. , BUT NO, you see only the possibility of a crash (which is 10 times lesser then in case of an airplane), the tons of (unneeded) paperwork in order to make it happen, and who knows what else, ppl like you will always think of another downside to everything!

Sorry, I went off topic here for a bit, but the point is:

NO IMAGINATION

 

I would definletly hate when someone comes and pops me with some overpowered formation combination.
Like doubl earrow and moth... just no.

It would ruin the game.

If it would be up to me, those "mini zeppelins" and other cool and useful stuff would exist.

But there is problem.

Don't have financier, and
you need to know what benefits and disadvantages those aircraft's have.
You can't build fast space shuttle from "remains of titanic and hindenburg", because they have not attributes witch would allow it travel fast.​

 

I think you're trying to say here:

Its OK to be popped by UFE with 1 drone formation, maxed PET and 45 LF-4

BUT

Its NOT OK to be popped by UFE with 2 drone formations, maxed PET and 45 LF-4 ?

Personally, I dont see the difference here, because UFE WW will pop anyone he likes, no matter how many formations he has.

The idea I'm suggesting doesnt cost you half million uridium, which (guess what) only WW can afford, (like in case of some additional elite limited edition PET designs),

my idea makes exp useful for something and again (guess what), you can use it too, cuz its FREE

A mini-zeppelin would cost less to make then an average car these days, and it would save tons of fuel, time, and traffic jam, believe me, I know this for a fact because I'm an engineer, specialized in this area, in real life

Hindenburg and Titanic? lol, I'm not talking some junkyard project, or about a do-it-yourself garage project here,

zeppelins were made successfully over 80 years ago, and nowadays, they can be made to work efficiently and safely

 

I WILL remain positive Jack.... The introduction of more drones at specific `EXP` point levels is not a bad idea, however running around with two drone designs, in my opinion, is way over the top.
After playing for over 5yrs I am near to lvl 21. I nearly spat my rather expensive coffee out all over my keyboard when I read ``a player who would reach lvl 30..``
I will refrain from writing stuff regarding cost and OP uber fe as that does not concern me. This idea would give purpose to levelling though and add content for players like myself.
Overall, I would say a flax @ lvl 20, 22, 24 etc. upto a max of 4flax.

 

Finally, some positive thinking

and, yes, level 30 is almost unachievable in any normal amount of time, so I'll try to scale the numbers a bit and you tell me what you think

level 10 - unlocks 2 additional Flax slots

level 15 - unlocks 2 additional Flax slots

level 20 - unlocks 2 additional Flax slots (and second drone formation, since every formation requires minimum of 6 drones to operate)

level 25 - unlocks (final) 2 additional Flax slots


as for drone designs, the same rules would apply as with drones we already have:

hercules gives the individual 15% bonus to the host drone and group bonus when all drones have the design, INCLUDING additional Flax drones

havoc also gives something ONLY when all drones, including Flaxes, have one on them

Jack I think that the extra drones should not be available until a much higher lvl. This gives the gamer/player something to aim for. As the game stands at the moment new players can pay to play and bypass the ethos of gaming too easily

Dude, what did you have to drink?! No one on my server has even hit level 25 and you say level 30 is easy? Lol, then how come you haven't reached it yet? No way to this. Having 2 formations at the same time...how would that even work when selecting them? And more flaxes has already been suggested on another thread but only up to 10. Considering no one will ever get to level 30, your flax idea is useless...level 40 lolz.
