Hangar Help

Won spearhead from Red Booty special you are running. Game placed it in Hangar one with my current ship. So I bought second hangar day later. How do you move the Spearhead from Hangar one to Hangar two without selling current ship? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Hi mongoose, you can not move the spearhead to the second hangar as you are asking without selling and re-buying the spearhead and other ship. It does not matter in reality which hangar each ship is in.

When you won the spearhead it should not have been automatically placed into the first hangar I would say you would have had to allocate it to the first hangar. If you did not do anything and it was automatically allocated to the first hangar then contact support.

Thank You Pacman for your advice. I will try that. I did not think I was doing anything wrong in trying to move it. But I thought should ask before I went pushing buttons..LOL

Yes thanks again. One more thing though. I sent inquiry to support as you suggested. However their reply leads me to believe I need to resubmit question again. Their automated response said to check forum for solution first and that I need to follow up that with another question to them if the solution was not found. It did give a ticket number to the question. So do I need to resubmit the question again or will they follow up on original one since all pertinent information they requested was in first first one.

I guess there is one more thing. How do you sell the Spearhead in the first hangar unless you allocate it and sell your primary ship first?

 

Hello mongoose

Once you submit a ticket you get automated response by system and the real response is expected in few business days.

You can click on any hangar double click on your ship, it would be high-lighted and you can sell it.

Hi Mongoose, you do not need to resubmit the question, I agree it is confusing.

The auto response is just an acknowledgement that support have received your query and a check list that you have given the relevant information for them to deal with your issue.
You should receive a response from support normally within 72hrs.

PS I was writing my response while PoseidonsFury was.
Also as PoseidonsFury points out the response time is affected by non business days.

 

Poseidon thanks for the input, however that will not work. We are dealing with a ship that was won during the red/blue special you are now running. It was place by the system in my hangar 1 in one of the three triangles in the hangar. I subsequently bought second hangar today and can not move Spearhead. I also cannot sell ship without allocating it and selling primary craft. This has prompted my questions. Thanks again your help is also appreciated. Mongoose

 

Hi Mongoose if I am understanding you correctly it would seem as you mention triangle that the spearhead was actually placed in the correct place waiting to be allocated.

So select the spearhead so it is between the arrows < spearhead image >, then the new hangar then click allocate to allocate the spearhead to that hangar.
It would appear that you have a spare ship the same as the ship in your first hangar.

 

Sorry they are not triangles they are hexagons. my mistake

 

When I try that it wants me to sell the primary ship in hangar one. A golliath, which I do not want top do. And allocate equipment to spearhead. Remaining items to be placed back in inventory.

 

Hi mongoose.

If your second hangar is empty and you want it to have the spearhead allocated to it, do the following:-

1. use the <> arrows to locate the spearhead between them. As the bottom of the three hexagons.
2. select the hangar 2.
3. click the flashing allocate icon.

This will allocate the spearhead to the second hangar.

PS as long as you have selected the second hangar ignore the message it appears even when you are allocating to an empty hangar.
