Sending DO Newsletters to DO mail System

I know besides myself,..there are a few other players out there who do not receive the Dark Orbit Newsletters that are send out with Voucher Codes and other things that are given out. I have gone through this with Support several times makeing sure everything was selected to "yes", confirming my email address, etc
I even went thru my email provider to make sure I didn't have any Spam-Blocker being used on their end. DO says my email is NOT Blacklisted,..but to this day, I do not get these Newsletters.

Dark Orbit has it's own Mailing System,...Why not start to send Newsletters to that system instead. That way, ALL Players will get their Newsletters and their Codes and all the benfits of the Newsletters.

Why have a Mailing System and not use it for Newsletters?

 

I have the same problem, and I agree. I've wondered about that myself. That would be a useful use of the system...

 

I don't think that they would do this.

Think of it this way; let's say that someone decided to quit the game. They get a voucher code that gives them (random) 10k X4 ammo. They might log on, and redeem the code. This gives that player a chance to look at the game and possibly play again.

 

Hear what you're saying cooljak. Easy answer is just to send it to both, to cover all the bases. Or, give an option in settings to "send only to e-mail" to turn it off for those who can receive newsletters that way, so they're not getting duplicate notices. But newsletters to my in-game box is the only way I would ever be able to see them.

 

That is true that if they do it that way,..some people would get the email twice. That is why I say send it to the Dark Orbit E-mail System instead of players personal emails, That way every Player gets the Newsletter (1) for each of us. I have had to have support "Push" thru the rewards ever since the Hades Gate was given out,..and that was not without a "fight" toget it with a certain Support woman each time.

Send it to the Games Email System!
