Thought out well or not?

It seems some of DO's newest quests aren't very well though out, I'd really love to get just about all of these quests out of the way so I can focus on the PvP ones.

Unfortunately I've notice in the Quest 'Power Vacuum' It REQUIRES that you upgrade your sheilds with duranium and lasers with prometid.

As easy as this sounds players like me UFE have 730,000 minutes of SEPROM on our sheilds and in my case 2,330,000 Seprom on my lasers; am I seriously expected to waste all of that only to put on the other 2 rocks.....

 

1st off why do you have 730,000 minutes of seprom on your shields been better to just toss them on your lasers/rockets. It takes 12 mins to send 100 units which lasts roughly 15 hours.

For the quest Power Vacuum notice that it is a level 4 quest (i think i know its lower then level 5).

 

The quest you are talking about is made for low level players, so that they can get used to refining and upgrading their lasers/ shields. Not for UFE players

 

I like to eliminate daily chores so why not have hundreds of thousands of minutes of sep on sheilds.

That being said the quests were made for all players of all levels and it simply bothers me that their even there so why not complete them .
Also it happens to be a mission you unlock from completing others so It gives special rewards, just like today I completed a level 5 unlock mission that gave me 10 EMP's.

They are all some what useful to complete.

Addition:
I think it would be nice for support to make out a work around for those UFE's out there so we dont have to crop our 2 million rounds of seprom down to Prometid...

Whilst it is a Mission available to all players (which is a level-based distinction), it is a quest aimed at a progressing player. I agree that it is unfortunate that the requirements are ... inefficient ... for a player of your experience (putting it very mildly ) - I will pass this on to see if Support can try some sort of workaround, but I would not get your hopes up. This may simply be one of those occasions where if you really wish to complete the Mission, you will have to bite the bullet and dump the Seprom.

(Personally, I would keep the Seprom. Even though I have a little OCD about gettings things all nice and neat and completed, it is still not worth trading the time investment in storing all of that up).

What about a second hangar? Do the rocks transfer? idk ?

 

Grr lolz Well I also have a little OCD but I'm definitely not dumping 2 million seprom
