  1. The auction page has become very slow, it seems to be taking enormous bandwidth
    All other page seem fine

Yeah, noticed that too, ever since that notification thingy appeared on the page.

No, it doesn't use bandwidth at all - while I'm on the Auction page there is no network activity at all.
What it does is uses 100% CPU and eats roughly 5 MB of memory per second until all memory is taken up, which in turn crashes the browser.

If oyu are planning on being on the auction page for log periods of time, I would recommend clearing the flash storage data and browser cache as to offer a bit of relief to the CPU.

Does the Op have any further questions on this topic?

  5. I have cleared everything several times, reset INT, reboot and nothing helps. This big issue started for me today other wise I have never seen it before

Have you attempted this on a different web browser.

also have you cleared the flash:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
(This is an actual web page - not just an image)

delete All the websites in the Website Storage setting Panel.

Hopefully one of these 2 items will help resolve the matter.

  7. Yes i
I tried all these things and i'm sure many of the other people having sluggish problems and not getting won items have also
So why do you always go to the standard comments when you know there's a problem ?

  8. And by the way the auction page doesn't use flash player

    KILLER(EU5) and bisphenol like this.

I double up here since the server shutdown the page has become slow and very sluggish. I have never had an issue with it before. As for recommend fixes my browser sit to do that already when I shut it down. I also run to separate internet connections to my computer one hardline and one wireless because I work tech support from home. So internet speed is not an issue for me. So what is going on?

  10. The auction page became very slow since the last 2 restart yesterday. We've already done everything Astraea. Alot of players are complaining about that issue.

I have, same issues on Firefox, Chrome and Iron.
That's pointless and has no effect on the Auction page because it does not contain flash contents or use flash player in any way.

As pointed out and confirmed by another member:

The fact is that the new Auction page is another example of bad coding. We already had extremely sluggish Auction page before the hourly/daily/weekly auction was introduced. Now the sluggish and broken auction is back.
No browser/flash cache clearing, updating flash/java and using different browsers will fix it. But I guess there's a long road in front of us before this gets realized and silently admitted.

ASTRAEA, I would like to ask you a question. Since you mentioned that you actively play this game, have you ever been on the new Auction page? And if yes, did your suggested remedies resolve its sluggishness? Thank you in advance.

we have sent information up to the higher members to have these issues address.
unfortunately we do not have an estimated time frame as to when this will be completed.
