Questions about Flax Drones

I consulted the DarkOrbit wiki, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to answer tee following questions:

1) I equipped my drones with the standard lasers, however they do not automatically attack when I do. How come? What am I missing?

2) Is there a way to change the distance they are from my ship?

3) Can they be equipped with Slot CPUs?

1. Drones dont shoot lasers. You can equipped it with lasers and shield, it adds on the attack and shield on your ship.

2. Yes, use the mouse scroll to change the distance of the drones to the ship

3. No. Like I said drones can only be equipped with lasers and shilds. Slots CPU are a no no to the drones.

 

you can put cpu's on your drones just wouldn't suggest it

I suppose the wiki isn't correct then as it states that you can equip drones with weapons, shields and extras.

 

yes you can put on extras just not slots extenders

 

its not u can put extras on drones besides sheilds and lasers and u can put slot cpu on drones and still get the slots on ship

 

Sorry my bad for that, but for me I only put shield and lasers on my drones.

 

1) they add to the damage and to the shield output but is not graphically animated.
2) use the mouse wheel to pull them in and out. Note: other players cannot see this.
3) yes they can. Note: only one per config, so if you have one on ship then no, also not advised as you can fit majority of extras on ship with 10 slot anyway.

Does the distance of the drones to the ship have any affect, e.g, they do more or less damage, or take more or less damage, or is t just a visual?
