Earlier I accepted 3 quests that required me to collect resources. 200-300 if I remember correctly.
However, I wanted to do them later and went on doing other quests first.
After a while, I noticed that instead of 6 quests, I had only 3 left in my quest window. So I thought they were timed quests and also thought I could pick them up again.

    Now my questions:

    1) are there timed resource collecting quests?

    2) generally, if I fail a quest, will I be able to pick it up again from the quest terminal or will they be lost?

    3) as I am rubbish with names I never bothered paying attention to the quest names, but the list doesn't seem to shrink at all at the quest terminal. Does that mean the quests repeat? If so, I don't have the resource collecting quests in there. Is it a glitch?

Also: No, I did not accidentally press abort with all three quests. Just to save you the typing :3

    Thanks!

  2. #1 Yes.
#2 A repeat is optional of the quest you failed to complete.
#3 completing a quest is finale no repeats or do over after being victorious.

  3. on some missions when you collect the ore from the aliens you have destroyed, it completes the mission for you.

if your unable to see them on the mission list under available, you can check if its completed usually ticking the tick tab (3rd one across) so it turns yellow

Thank you all for assisting the player with their question.
MsOcean, Some resource quests can be completed by alien cargo crates. It is likely that you completed the quest without knowing it.
Try checking your mission list as ÐAЯK-MATTEЯ has suggested. You may find that the quest is indeed complete.

Does the OP have any further questions or may we close?
