Battle for influence 2014

reached 2nd place in the galactic and company wide ranking of this years battle for influence. Any word on what and when am I getting rewards?

 

I'm sure all the half-damaged noobs you killed n 5-3 will send you congratulations later. Way to pat yourself in the back!

that's for everyone and the winners will get 10% more in box's are sell ore

I'm guessing the #1 company will get 15% and the other companies depending on the % of what the #1 is ahead of them...
at least this would sound reasonable to me. This is not the speakers corner though.

 

well i mean... vru on my server had 280mil i think while mmo had 34mil and eic 22mil. But i thought they meant your personal influence.

 

corporation is a different word for company. The 15% are company wide rewards. The individual rewards are a different story and probably rewarded with either uridium, x4 or premium.

 

The DO facebook page is saying there is no rewards for top 3 players, makes you wonder why they made a top 3 leaderboard in the first place.



"Looks like i lost" - That sums it up quite well for the people who bothered to put the effort in, I won the top 3 but my company lost lol.

i had first place in galactic and company the first day and then said... what the hell am i bothering with this for these points are useless. and so i quit getting points.

Normally during solar clash, pirate hunts and other summer games the players who put in the most effort got premium uridium or whites...
Hope darkorbit will rethink this decision.

That was a complete waste of my time then... Why did I waste over half mil of x4 in all those events just to give all noobs all my company some advantage... Whenever I asked some of them to fight for company almost everyone just kept sitting and fighting in chat... What's the point of me fighting for them if I made almost 1/10 of all company points, while they were sitting around, doing nothing, and now I will get same rewards as them... Very nice DO, another thing that is gonna make a lot of people unhappy... -.-

 

So in the end, it's another rip off event, that no one even enjoyed but people busted their buts for nothing.

 

Unfortunately I can understand the frustration that you feel about the event. As the rewards and certain happening that were not very clear. However, as you know I am a very pleasant moderator and do have to find the up side to most down situations.

Not all servers are largely populated... for those servers, players came out and participated... putting activity on the maps. Spaceball and Capture the Beacon seemed to me, to be a great success. As they are interactive and it gave players the opportunity at kills, company participation and a bit of fun.

As for the rewards, when I know what the rewards will be, I will post them in the official announcements. but as of yet... I have not received that information. So I have to hold to a positive not that things are not as bad as you all think.

Please try an keep a positive thought... We have big new quest... Cool new ships and tons of great stuff to buy on trade with Credits. Things are better than they were before.

not that the other employees are not good; just i like ur style.

Thanks for the info, but by their words no one isn't gonna get any reward (top players with most points) and by your words, there will be some rewards. So I just want to know will there be any rewards or not... lol

 

Now, lets just wait for the summer games, to see how they REMOVED that up too.
