GA1 game client won't open

    Been trying for about 3 hours to open up battle map on Global America 1. It just tries to connect. Restarted machine, cleared cache, tried different machines, still won't connect. Anyone else having the same issue? Please fix. Thanks!

    Yes I have got the same problem, I read something about my firewall but I don't get it :/

    mine will not open either i havent changed any settings since i logged in last time so i believe the problem is at bigpoints end

    Me, too. It's been four hours now. I don't think it's a firewall issue, this all happened in game, thanks to the lovely lag at jump portals. I had to log out and log back in, only now the client won't connect.

    Hmm I've just tried GA1 and its worked for me, there was some maintenance earlier and I'm guessing that has caused some problems.

    Are you all on the same ISP? Just trying to think of some issues that have occurred in the past when a particular ISP blocked DarkOrbit.

    Just try to jump from 3-3 > 3-4 You will see

    ISP = Internet Service Provider, sorry I should have been clearer.
    I did try and it's fine for me, that's why I'm thinking there must be something that links all of you together, such as your ISP.

    Ah ok thnx, but I don't think this is the problem, because I have friends who have got the same problem and they are from other country's like belgium and estonia

    That's most likely not the problem, there is a similar thread in the Spanish forum so it's confirmed that the problem occurs with different ISP.
    Also it's worth noting that I'm able to log into the game from my other account, I don't really know what's happening but I'm pretty sure I'm not banned.

    Ah ok, yeah, your both right that would mean that it wasn't anything to do with ISP. Looks like it will just have to be a case of waiting for DO to fix it I guess :/

    I can get into GA1 but there is a lot of lag right off the bat.
