JPA unknown damage

    During JPA - each time my opponent ran away I was receiving persistent damage (only 6-8k) but this allowed for them to repair and me not to.


    It was not the rad zone - I was in the centre.
    It was not his PET - his PET was not out and he was as far away from me as possible.
    It was not venom - he was in a sentinel
    It was not a mine.

    I was sat in the middle of the JPA map alone

    So while I had the better of him twice - since I could not repair he managed to get me third time lucky.

    I don't know what caused this glitch but it very annoying.
     
  2. Flash i had same issue. After countdown finished i started taking damage. I emped and still took damage. Switched to shield side and 1 sec they were full and bam no shields. He was flying a spectrum so i know it wasnt venom. No mines no pet and away from rad red zone.


    Also i my be wrong but I thought jp was 3 rounds first apponet I won and moved on. Got a bi on second round im thinking cuz clock reset. Next apponet was where issue happened. And jp over for me. Like i said i am prob wrong but i thought it took 2 losses to be kicked?

    I don't know for sure but it seemed similar to that of a chain impulse.. does that tech have an extended range?

    Doesn't chain impulse do only 10k dmg to shields?

    Was it "FlagShip" or someone with UNS at the end of their name by any chance?

    It does a maximum of 10k but get less the further the enemy is away and it goes straight to HP, doesn't touch shields.

    so chain impulse isn't the culprit in this situation, I think

    Eh it might be, a glitch was abused by the winner, I'm sorting it out now with Support trying to get it to the people with power to fix it asap.

    It allows people to use back up shield and chain impulse as many times as they want with no cool down, so it could be what flash is describing happened to him.

    but he said the enemy was nowhere near him. If the dmg gets less the farther away he is, then if he is far away enough, the dmg could stop

    This is what needs to be confirmed.. and whether it was a glitch to be working so far away.

    How much dmg was being done to you? If he was far away enough, the dmg would've been minimal to you.

    Got to remember JPA map is tiny, so far away on there isn't very far at all.

    The size of the damage isn't important - as i've said it was 6-8k.

    The main issue is that I could not repair or regenerate shield whilst he could. This meant he managed to make 2 additional configs since he ran off twice.

    It may be their PET doing damage. There is a visual glitch where after the PET is destroyed, and if immediately repaired and spawned back, it sometimes can go invisible for a while (not showing on minimap), but the PET during that time can still be locked.

    "Not showing on minimap."

    You can still see the pet on screen and pet has limited range with radar protocols

    there was a bug look .. interceptor775 using backup shield non stop
     
  17. Um that looks like it was faked. just squared around it.

    he/she isn't the only person that did this ,

    plus look at the hp and shield...

    Can guarantee its not fake, it will be getting fixed very soon ^^

  20. if you spam fireworks in the same spot it does the exact same thing its a glitch
