How long do the tech items last once you make them in the tech area of the skylab

 

Forever until you use or delete them.

 

They are a one time only item. So once you use it, you have to re-buy it.

A few, like how do you become full FE! I was once a long time ago and I can't remember how I did that! Also, how do you get the more advance shields for your ship?

To reach Full Elite status you need to have below listed items:
Goliath
31 Lf3
16 B02
15 Speed Generators - 7900
24 pilot points
8 Iris drones

Note: My opinion might be different from others and amount of B02, Lf3 and drones may vary to what they may consider it as Full elite.

To get more shields you need shield engineering (pilot-bio skill), B02 upgraded to max, Hercules, boosters (normal & pro) and ship designs.

Hmm, F4s are very hard to come by! Haven't gotten on yet, and if I did wouldn't I need all to be F4s to shoot whatever ammo they shoot?

 

kissofdeath70, You can equip as many lasers of any type to your ship as you have empty slots to fill.The LF-4 lasers would be better served on a drone as they will get a damage bonus based on the drone level and upgrade level. You do not have to have all of a particular type of laser to use them.
