Auction works like a dead dog.

"Boy" I have to say the Auction is one of the slowest, bad running upgrades they done so far. It should never tell you your still the high bidder if you've been out bid. It seams that after the 5 min count down it stops working. No matter how many time I refresh it I still have the highest bid even while I'm starting to see email notices showing up. Boy does this dead dog have to be redone or what. Sorry Big Point but the auction upgrade was a flop. Should never upgrade something with a none working or unfinished upgrade. Sure looks nice but looks only work in the modeling industry.

Not whining. Whining would be if I did it all the time. The Auction is a mess up that's not even contestable. Just posted my complaint after watching it fail to work like a well thought out program would over and over again. If the program can't keep up to the speed needed to run then either fix it or drop it and go back to the first one. It worked just fine. It can look good but if it can't do it's job send it on it's way. Just like an employee whom can only do part of the job right, no sense in keeping them around.

 

I don't know what auction you're bidding in, but it sure isn't the DO auction.

The DO auction is bugged noob, get your head out of where the sun don't shine and keep your mouth shut, even the Admins and support have stated auction has issues they're trying to fix.

 

My auction works fine, and I don't see any blatant bugs or errors with it.

 

Some servers aren't so bad, mainly small ones. I have used it on multiple different servers and it works a lot better then my main server.

 

yeap its slow and also when u bid in the last 5 seconds or 10 seconds .it will not load .idk why .it will just register for next hour .which is so damn annoying

 

It's because DO was so "smart" that letting us see bids, makes almost the whole server of players constantly refreshing to see if they have bid or if someone took it, so it goes nuts with loading and the server can't handle it. "GeniusOrbit"

 

If they didn't let us see bids it would be even worse. People would bid over and over again, hoping they outbid the previous person. And if they failed, they'd get their credits refunded and they would bid again. That, would be so much worse than letting us see bids.

 

Um no, now that people CAN SEE BIDS, people are constantly getting out bid, which is causing more and more loading of the auction, which causes more and more lag. Think pal, think.

 

DO could fix bugs / lags , especially lags! Guys jsut want new upgrades, designs etc.
But with all that DO is one of the laggest game i ever played . FIX it !

lol dear god, one of the tiniest servers doesn't have a laggy auction oh ho boy.

 

Us west coast servers auction does not work right. Yesterday morning I won two things and never recieved them and the same thing happen today. So I've contacted support for yesterdays and now I have to do it one more time. Nope Auction upgrade was a failure. You can't argue with the facts. Way to much lag, auction page is to slow to deal with bidding,Don't get what you won, Email notice's show up sometime 15 min after auction ended. Yup Failure or just written without thinking about what could hinder the performance of the program.

 

You lost the bid - deal WITH it! Going once, going twice, some1 else says thrice

 

The problem here the auction has major lag issues, i play west time to time, that servers auction takes forever to load.

 

So I didn't loose the bid. I got an email notice telling me I won both. After looking in the logs like support asked. I find that I did received the items 20 min. after the auction ended. So I won the auction, got email notice that I won, Then 20 min after auction ended I got my items. Nope Auction works just fine. I should have realized that Shipping those items takes time.
