The new font

Of all things they could of done like reducing lag or making the game better etc they choose to make the font different lmao. i thinks this game is running out of ideas of what to put into this game

The font hasn't changed for me, what server are you on?

Changing font and reducing lag are no way near the same scale of updates. To change font it would take 30 mins worth of work by 1 or 2 people.
To reduce lag? First you have to identify which areas are causing lag, then find out if it only certain areas for certain people, then you have to find ways around this issue and test them on test servers etc. It's a long process.

If you are going to criticize them for doing something as small as changing the font then at least put forward something equally small that they should have spent the time on instead ...

 

im playing on gb1, hmm something small they could fix, well for one they could fix the bug with hitacs where when the hitac jumps port, sometimes the minions end up staying on the port meaning everyone gets to kill them

 

Hmm just went on GB1, everything looks the exact same. If its the chat font then it's probably something to with your end and not a change by DO. If it was something like the font used for game names or logs then everyone would see a change :/

 

no what i meant is when your in outfit and someone locks onto something, the font is different or when your getting hit etc its different

 

Fixing the diplomacy cpu? I assume it is still broken yet the function works fine for premium members.

Fixing the tech glitch that has been going on for months? I assume it's now being looked at since it appears to have been abused in jackpot battle.

The font has been changed for everything in game it seems, on GB2. The text in the pop-up notes when you hover over buttons, the text when you mouse-over someones hp/shield in outfit window, even the font for the numbers from damage as ramnik says.

I don't think it's a bad change but why not focus on the broken things first?

 

I see what font you mean now it is horrible. It's like Times New Roman I think they are going back in time.

I normally have damage numbers off, so since the log font and chat font haven't changed I did not see it.

LOL so they half fixed this problem

By changing all the names into disgusting times new roman

n1 bp... and yes I saw okapi's post in the upcoming stuff thread (below) but this is just disgusting reading names that look like this now.

Also how come the fonts were changed to fugly when you hovered over stuff (like ammo) before, then today, those fonts were changed back to how it was previously?

The font's aren't terrible, it's just annoying that the special characters I used in my clan tags now show despite my best efforts to make them not show on the maps.

Only other issue is when I hover the cursor over Green Booty Keys. It appears in korean or chinese. I asked few ppl but it seems it's only happening to me.
Can't be bothered to screenshot it as it doesn't affect gameplay.
But will do on request.

They could fix / remove the ammo cap which is only ignored for selective ways of adding items to the armoury not how big it is, but that would be to easy and be good for the game. So I guess that's never going to happen.

Especially as UWW have to buy booty keys to add some elite ammo.
