Upgrading drones, skill tree questions

Hello space pilots,

I am Goliath pilot, 8 irises and full elite equipment. Currently i am working on the skill tree, 11 points.

The current stats of the tree are these:


I have two questions about more experienced pilots around.

First, till when it is worth buying log disks to upgrade skill tree with uridium?
And second, is it worth upgrading irises? Or LF-3's? Or shields? Or maybe, is it worth to buy booty keys and use them on the Gold pirate booty event, instead of upgrading irises, LF-3's and shields?

Irises and shields upgrading = YES... L3's upgrading for me no it isn't worth it... Buying log disk is your own personal preference but remember every time you do a point it gets more expensive the next time so the quicker you can get your pilot points done the better

 

First, I recommend you to buy uridium till 21 Pilot Point and get all the defense skill done.
Second, Upgrade Iris and then BO-2 and then only LF-4s.
Buying booty keys is your choice but i would recommend you to do zeta gate for havoc, 50 logs and 25 Booty Keys. Save the booty key for "Zeus Day" while you will be getting Logs for your next Pilot point.

 

1st keep on with skill tree ATLEAST till all 1st line ( defence) is full 100%
2nt go for apis & zeus BUT spend booty keys ONLY on golden bootys - this way u get everything a green booty has AND zeus parts - this way till u are ready to buy zeus u will have an apis for free !!!
3rd i am not soor what is the best - maby has to do with what u prefer (play style) - i have started updating - 1st priority on updating is iris - then lf4 - LAST is bo2 cause there is a BIG possibility that soon we will have BO4 shilds

since they put in beter laser(lf-4) people talk about beter shield so idea come from there.
anyway i don't think they are going to make new shields any time soon.

It is cheaper if you upgrade your shields and your LF4 together...IE...get all to level 2, then all to level 3..etc..

The reason for this is the boost improvement % for each level is the same, and the lower levels are all cheaper, so better to do all the low levels first all around..( Except iris and rocket launcher, do those full to 16 first).

And everyone else is right, do zetas for log disks and booty keys, save for gold booty day, and save all that uri for pilot bio to at least 24 pp (for fats and defense)... you will need a lot of uri in addition to the log disk zeta gives, then think about the upgrades.

 

I did a lot of upgrades it took me 3mill uri to get 17 lf4s and 20 b02s and 10 drones from lvl 10 to 16 with rebate and premi i got my havocs and zeus drone first so i would go after those, as for pilot bio i usually got to 18pp before i started doing zetas for havocs got most pilot bio from there when i was doing zetas for havocs.

 

Okay, here's what I would do.

Upgrade IRIS first!
Simply because it'll help more and last you a little longer in attacks, such as,
Aliens and Players, and also it's like having Havocs on your Iris.
Then I would go for Havocs next (Use Uridium reward from zeta to use it again to rebuild another zeta(It's better if you're premium ))

Upgrade Shields!(This includes Pilot Points Bio also)
It's best to upgrade shields, but not all of them, you won't use everything at the same time. So just upgrade about 10-20, it depends how much you are into this game

DO NOT UPGRADE LF-3!!!
It's useless when it comes to upgrading.


ONLY UPGRADE LF-4, BO2, IRIS, APIS, and ZUES!

Thank you all for assisting with this thread.

You always have the alternative in obtaining log-disks from booty boxes, gate spins, from auctions and also from galaxy gates especially Zeta gate.
Iris drones are worth upgrading and also shield generators (B02), I won't suggest you to upgrade Lf3's because eventually you will get LF4 and start upgrading them.
If you want to get LF4, Zeus and Apis drone then its worth to invest in booty keys.

Note: My opinion may differ from others.
